Delicious food, filling sizes, very reasonable pricing, good drinks range, friendly and welcoming staff, fun but not overwhelming decor. Overall an excellent choice for a relaxing Sunday lunch. Also overhead them be really responsive and helpful for coeliac diners at a neighbouring table.

A little gem in a small country town with Nepali cuisine. The atmosphere was exceptional and the staff were very friendly!The crispy chicken wings were delicious and the deep fried momos were very yummy too! I usually don’t eat deep fried food but their deep fried food doesn’t taste oily at all! We also ordered lamb curry and vegetarian curry and both were delicious too!I loved every dish and I wish I could go back to try more of their food sooner!

What an absolute delight! From the moment you walk in the door the delightfully Braidwood hospitality shines through in this gem. It’s a bar, a restaurant, a lounge room, a courtyard with an open fire, a great hang with friends or meet the friendly locals. This place is home. You won’t be able to visit, you’ll keep coming back. Enjoy!

Smokey Horse is a uniquely beautiful restaurant that is full of life in quiet braidwood.The owner is honestly the nicest of hosts who welcomes everyone warmly and ensures you have the best dining experience.The ambience of the restaurant and engaging conversations with the owner enhance your enjoyment along with delicious food and drink options.Veg/ve options as well. The lovely gardens are warmed by fire on a cold day/night and are very dog friendly!Smokey horse frequently hosts musicians of all kinds and supports local talent. Lots of free parking at the front with nice parks and shops nearby.This restaurant is one of a kind and we can see why its so popular with locals and visitors.We highly recommend his 5star establishment. Try it today!

Loved everything about Smokey Horse. The set up of the venue, the amazing food (yummy momos) and the warm hospitality. The kid enjoyed eating his lunch then got so engrossed playing the retro games upstairs he didn’t want to leave.

Spotting a restaurant miles away from Sydney serving Indian food is delightful.Karuna is gem of a person. Absolutely loved the ambiance, warm gesture and the cheesecake with vanilla icecream is simply yum over here. Nothing can beat the cheesecake from smokey horse.

First visit to Braidwood and didn't expect such a great meal as that served by the Smokey Horse. We enjoyed the chicken curry and lamb curry - both meats were deliciously tender and the sauces were packed with flavour. The platters included tasty sides such as roasted pumpkin pieces and tomato chutney. The pairing of the Half Moon riesling from Braidwood was the perfect complement.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Braidwood. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order, I am always delighted with my meal! The service is the best! always efficient, happy and polite. Can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!!Thank you :)
