Suffered some allergy problems overnight in Scottsdale so visited this place knowing I needed anti-histamines, some chlorsig, and ventolin. Asked for the first; no problem. Asked for the second, got a host of questions. Explained my ophthalmologist recommends it when I suffer allergies as I have a complicated recurrent ophthalmic shingles issue. Was reluctantly handed the (over-the-counter) medication. Asked for the third medication and was told that, given I was not a regular customer and had no script, they wouldn't give it to me. Ventolin, an over-the-counter drug that stops you dying of respiratory failure! I offered to show them the expired pump I had in the car. The girl on the counter was so disapproving. She summoned the pharmacists who thankfully had more sense, but not before she muttered to her that I had no history with them (as though I was trying to worm some highly addictive drug out of them). This is Ventolin, people! The drug that has been deliberately made an over-the-counter medication so that people don't die of an asthma attack. Very poor form.
