Great Mexican food in a great location. The views from the windows overlooking Bondi give this restaurant the perfect beach vibes to go with their excellent food. The beef tacos were the surprising best of the lot. The michelada was good, but needed a bigger glass.

Dined in, and was absolutely horrified at the experience! We arrived to an empty restaurant were the staff were eating and drink at a table, then proceeded to give us the exact table they had gotten from without even wiping it down. The Staff were too busy on their phones to take orders for majority of the night, watched 2 other tables have to get up to get attention to be served, but even more surprisingly we were horrified to find not 1 but 2 cockroaches had also stopped by for dinner!!Food was ok but extremely overpriced for the quality, services and cleanliness. Take your money elsewhere You can find my nicer Mexican down the road!

Has A LOT of potential, with a few tweaks it could be 5 stars.The crab tostadas are fantastic, and the margaritas are awesome as well.Some constructive feedback though. The menu can be a little vague on what comes with certain things, or is a little misleading on others. The Al Pastor Ceviche for example came with fresh pineapple rather grilled, and while not a big deal, it wasn’t the only example.The soft shell crab tacos were also a slight let down. The tortillas were amazing, the accompaniments on the taco were delicious but the serve of crab was way too small for the otherwise generous taco. There was only really enough crab to get it in 1-2 bites, but the taco was about 4-6 bites worth, meaning you ended up with 3-4 bites that had no crab whatsoever.The service also could do with a little work, for a small venue it was surprising how often we had to get the attention of the staff when we had empty plates and glasses on the table and wanted to order more.I put a lot of these criticisms down to it being a new venue and hopefully they can iron these out for the next visit

Very cute, small venue. Looks beautiful and has a great view. The staff was friendly.We ordered 2 taco’s each and the guacamole. It was enough for lunch. It’s a bit pricy.We didn’t have cocktails but they looked great so we will definitely come back to try those.Its a great place for a quick bite and a cocktail before you head out.

Great service and food! Where we sat was prime location. Definitely would come again.The prawn taco had a good amount of spice and the ceviche was refreshing with the amount of flavours

It was a perfect dinner at Calita after a walk along Bondi Beach. Ceviche and octopus tacos were absolutely perfect for me with a Mango Margarita.

Ate there lastnight and found the waiters and waitresses to be on point. We arrived 10 minutes earlier than our booking so the waiter gave me and my girlfriend a free small drink. Not to mention he seated us only minutes later after juggling all the patrons who were sitting outside during the pouring rain.Blue swimmer crab was one favourite. The beef cheek tacos were creamy. The cocktails were wipped perfectly. Even though there was a lightning storm outside it still possessed a great atmosphereA Tuesday night dinner couldn't really get any better.

2 very good cocktails, 5 tacos that tried to be exotic, and authentic, but just weren't great. An ok thrown on salad, sparkling water $110. Its an nice place, but this group of restaurants (taquiza, carbon especially, Sonora is the best of the bunch) need to work on the food...the rest of the offers' components in all their places are pretty good.
