Nagambie Railway Station (Nagambie)

Does look like the upgrade is now complete but still the most basic regional train station that I have come across. Only one platform - same getting on & off. 2 bus stop style shelters with seating only. One is for the disabled.No Myki touch off point - so exactly how do you touch on & off? A fellow waiting passenger said the tix have to be purchased online or touch on/off at Seymour. But the conductor on train inspects the tix/myki as soon as you get in. Wisely - I purchased paper tix at one of the city metro premier stations.Nagambie has been tourist destination for yonks with the annual Rowing regatta & festivals. I saw quite a few pensioners disembark here yday & make their way into town. Connecting bus/coach stop here too.Directions to town centre is obscure though easy enough to find. It is straight down Prentice St - diagonally opposite from exit point. 10 mins easy walk. Note: No uber or taxi service!

The most basic of train stations. No myki top up here. No cover from weather
