Tallarook shop has friendly customer service with the new owners. Great fish and chips!Hock The Ruby Cafe is amazing with awesome locally sourced food. Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday for breakfast and lunches.Tallarook trail trail is fantastic for walking, bike riding and horse riding along the beautiful Goulburn River to the Trawool Valley.A highlight is the stunning Tallarook Recreation Reserve, in a bush setting with views to the Tallarook Ranges, enjoy a cold beverage while watching the cricket.Avoid the hotel, open only sporadically, no menu, terrible customer service, no locals... say no more.

Really small and pretty, everything is just really beautiful. There's nothing here except a lolly shop and cafe though, Tallarook is TINY.
