Would have to say that I love the way they have preserved this station, the staff are very helpful and friendly. It's just got that geelong vibe, we're we all stick together and help each other out. Been travelling to here from here, and through here for years now and if I get a chance il love to get off and take a picture and grab something from the Cafe there, then jumping back on the train. It's so exciting.

SORRY NOT SORRY!!!!No buses to Newcomb between 3pm and 4.30pm on a saturday!10 people standing waiting,while 6 buses show sorry,not in serviceUPDATE....the buses now stop at random bus stops along the route ,.......try waiting at the bus stop for a bus that has been parked 2 stops before,outside maccas for the last hour!!!!!! Better yet,try sitting on a bus that randomly stops and waits when you are going someplace!!!!PATHETIC

Beautiful heritage listed railway station, but the retrofitted lift on the entrance side is nowhere near the accessible parking spaces — you have to go past the booking hall etc.

A WELL PRESERVED STATION FROM THE GOLDEN ERA OF TRAIN TRAVELThis is quite an old station that still retains a little grandeur.Staff are friendly. Stairs can be challenging for some!Its the main railway station in Geelong so if you are travelling down from Melbourne for a day trip, get off here for the city centre and Eastern Beach.The train line pretty much runs parallel to the highway from Melbourne. You'll know you are almost at the station as the bridges and taller buildings of central Geelong start to pop up about 5 minutes prior.Stay on the train until South Geelong if you are going to the other side of the city.

Beautiful old station with great staff. Lots of connecting services and a well stocked cafe if you get stuck and have to wait for a bit. Plus it's close to town so a good location. Carpark could probably be bigger but it's not like they have space to expand!
