Peaceful station located next to local shopping strip, although most of the time you have to change at Camberwell for trains into the city or towards Lilydale & Belgrave

A small local station with limited car parking under large leafy shady trees in some sections. Has a relaxing restful air about it. Charity bin to be found here. Close to local Ashburton shopping strip with post office, restaurants, cafes, Green grocers, bakeries and other speciality shops. Cycle trail nearby. Bus stop in High Street is right next to it upon exit of train station. Convenient location.
