Great station, however it is a bit dodgy when it gets dark. Stay safe and be aware of your surroundings. All in all though a reliable station that does its job well.

It's my train station but like the rest which are getting a total change over I don't think they will be doing to much to this one. Not that it doesn't need it, it can do with redesigning the platforms maybe incorporating toilets on the platforms rather than having to go up the ramps. Overall it's a nice d station with a small but always full carpark it has a laundry a take away food place for something when you get a bit hungry or need a drink. They have painted it but it does need more than that. As long as they are building brand new stations they might as well throw some money the Moorabbin station. It will be ashame if they don and personally I don't believe they will. It has good area for wheelchair drop off and is very much wheelchair accessible. It can be done better

Trains here sometimes, and a strange little convenience store. You can also get your washing done! Has a desk with a person for enquiries

Finally a station with a good bus interchange. Well staffed, some shops above and well covered. Parking looks difficult.

OK I have been coming here for years and years and yes the plants have grown but not much else has changed. The electronic timetables are a vast improvement but the bathrooms havent changed since the 1980's!! Avoid them if you can. Moorabbin train station is a good transport hub and close to many places worthwhile checking out whether it's the Kingston Arts Centre, Moorabbin Bowls (now Zone bowling), Wilbury and Sons, Grape and Grain, Minnie Miny Mo cafe, Toast It, Woolworths, Fat Girl Thai Kitchen etc etc. It also has a laundrette, takeaway and convenience store on site.

Built in the 1980s, the concourse resembles a stretched shipping container rendered in beige concrete with a low gable roof. The concourse is staffed all day has the basic facilities, as well as a food and convenience and close access to bus services, but like Elsternwick station platforms are down in the ditch were they can't be seen, so you may feel unsafe even if there are PSOs nearby.Accessibility is beyond poor -- no lift / wheelchair access and ramps down to the platforms are so steep even motorisef wheelchairs struggle, and even for a fully ambulant person. It's a shame the station was so poorly designed, despite Nepean Hwy having to be elevated to cross the rail line trench.A comprehensive example list of how not to build a station.

This station is a little dated but not too bad but the toilets, well yes they do need a serious upgrade. The station does have a Customer Service counter and is conveniently close to a handy bus interchange where you can pick up a bus to Brighton, Dandenong, Keysborough and Southland Shopping Centre. The station also has a Myki ticketing machine and a Telstra payphone should you need it. There's also a laundrette, a cafe and Convenience Store & Tobacconist within the station complex itself. Close nearby you'll also find the Minnie, Miny, Mo cafe and a Post Office on the east side.
