Victoria Park

What a lovely station. It's really something else, you know? Heh jokes. But giving it a pre-emptive 5-star cause it'll probs end up getting refurbished eventually. I mean it's fine as it is right now. Not many criteria a station needs to meet to be acceptable.One end of the platform has a rather large-ish gap between it and the train, so one needs to take a rather large-ish step to get across it cleanly. I guess that's a bit of a negative. Someone slim or preadolescent could fall down there ezpz. Someone a little larger isn't immune either; they could get stuck between the platform and the train, which is potentially worse than just slipping through. I mean, even if you don't fall into the gap, it could still trip you up. That's no fun. Hobbling into work with a bleeding nose.The station is also a Pokemon gym, for those that are into that. I played the game for a bit, but it got a little repetitive, so I eventually stopped. It certainly gets one walking more though.Sometimes I'd just walk home instead of taking the train. Took a good few hours. Got some decent kms on my incubators those days, but I don't know if I should be discussing that here, since i didn't visit this station on those days.

Clearly laid out, long wheelchair ramps, top up for myki, parking nearby, drop off possibilities, some shelter against rain, no toilets, no staff, no vending machines.

Hurstbridge line customers, this will be your best friend in March-April '18 when there is a shut down due to level crossing removal works.The express buses run between Macleod and Victoria Park. This is not very well communicated by Metro, especially outbound during the longer bus replacement periods.

Very basic old style station in good location. Close to buses in Hoddle Street and makes an efficient transport hub to get you about efficiently. Brings back memories (mostly painful) of once a year visit for football.

A great, local station within Melbourne. Buses from Doncaster are extremely reliable with many public transport connections. There are many historical and natural landmarks including Victoria Park and Dights Falls. New upgrade will ensure that this wonderful station can be used by anyone and help local residents a lot.

The little sitting area room with the black U shaped sitting bench on Platform 2 really needs to be cleaned, it is really smelly similar to urine. Otherwise this station is pleasant.Thank you

Not a bad station I suppose, it's easy to find and the services are are frequent enough. The path leading up towards the platform can get slippery and sometimes muddy when it rains, so be mindful of that.

Most of the platform is uncovered and there is no way to move from platform to platform. But the 'metro' style of trains each 10 minutes is great.

Really good. Close to the city. Some weirdos late at night and early mornings
