Average unmanned train station - no toilets. There is a small cafe in the station that is open for the morning peak period, completely unadvertised and I suspect it is independent. If you require human customer service, you need to travel either to Essendon (2 stops toward craigieburn) or to North Melbourne (3 stops towards the city) as these are the closest 'premium stations' with extra services.Parking spaces at this station are very limited; I would recommend walking for a distance, or parking at either Essendon or Newmarket, as they both have more parking availability than any station in between.Overall, Ascot Vale train station is good and serves its purpose well. It is not very dirty compared to most stations, doesn't smell terribly, and not often frequented by troublemakers, from my experience.

It's a station. Not much to say about it.
