One of the more better stations on the Craigieburn line, with wide platforms, indoor seating areas, information desk and toilets. The entrance has been renovated to have a more modern look, and is very close to bus and tram connections, as well as the main Essendon shopping area. Some V-Line trains also stop here.

You can go High Point Shopping Center and DFO Essendon easily.

train always late

Essendon train station is under construction with level crossing has been removed and brand new train station almost finished.Great food stalls around the area royal hotel close by for entertainment great services with all public transport connects and branch out for your own destinations.

This station seems to be fine in my humble opinion.But the level crossing removal? Nope, seems like the level crossing removal made things worse for those who live in Buckley Street, Essendon or somewhere else in Essendon.

You need be focus on your tren!

Heritage listed for Craigieburn, Broadmeadows and Bendigo line trains. This station has Myki top-up machines with staff manned at the ticket selling office (Monday to Sunday, from first train to last train) to provide Vline and Myki tickets.The station is currently undergoing a level crossing upgrade to place the road under rail which is currently creating distribution, eliminating parking places and diverting buses.There is Wheelchair accessible access and Tactile paths, but no Escalator, or Lift. You can also find public toilets available on the platform.Access to the main platform 'Two and three' is via an underground walkway accessible from Rose and Russell Streets.

Fantastic Old Train.That train can continue for all Essendon Station.Let’s hope this train continue always try and will always be the best service let’s hope this continues from each platform platform one platform two and platform three
