Fantastic place for a hike! We did the peak and as warned it is quite steep and took our unfit selves way too long but we made it and the view was totally worth it! Lots of dogs because it is allowed but note that there are no bins so you have to take your rubbish home with you. Also note that there are many walks and some are flatter than others, like the big rock walk. There are some BBQs available. We went on the weekend so it was very busy and parking was difficult to find.

First time visit here and won't be the last! Not far from Melbourne, you can actually have clear views of the Cities Skyscrapers to the East on a clear enough day.We visited on a winter weekday when it was cold and very windy, especially up on the exposed peaks. It was still moderately busy with quote a few walkers, mountain bikers etc. Great natural environment, lots of Birdlife, stunning scenery and views from the higher parts. BBQs, shelters, picnic tables and clean, modern drop toilets are located near all the car parks we visited. The park is popular of rock climbers and it can be quite entertaining watching them abseil down some of the large rock formations.

A fantastic place to get out and walk, hike or mountain bike. We parked at the office car park and did the Big Rock walk. We then continued on and did the Flinders Peak walk, which was quite challenging as lots and lots of steps up a steep incline. Well worth the effortt hough for the great views.

Great free place to go for a hike or a picnic especially if you are in the west of Melbourne since its just a short drive. Very popular and crowded on weekend. You can bring your dogs too. There are 3 car parks from the bottom to midpoint of the peak so you can choose to park where you wanna start your walk. Toilets and picnic tables and chairs are available at each car park.Big rock walk is best for family with kids as its just couple of steps from the car park. Plenty of picnic slots with bbq and fire pits too.We did the main walk from the bottom car park to Flinder peak. 8.7km. Took us around 1.5 hrs to the top with resting and photo time and 45 mins to get down. We are quite fit and average hikers.

Nice goto place if you want to warm up and do a small hike, it has a trail that will get you to the top for 30 to 45 minutes and there's another long trail. A good place to reconnect with nature and see birds eye view of metropolitan melbourne and surrounding western suburbs

High vibrational site that deserves respect. Significant country here. Stunning natural rock sculptures. Great for running, sitting, and contemplating. Wedge Tail Eagle spirit soars high.

Great place for a picnic and the views are to die for. Hard uphill and rough walk from the upper carpark to the summit but if you're reasonably fit it's well worth the effort.
