Rude staff

Great way to view this beautiful place and snorkel the shipwrecks. Leaves on time, upbeat announcements! And great pizza & coffee made on board. 45 min trip. Recommended

Terrible terrible serviceParked up at 1.14 for ferry at 2pm as requested, 45 minutes early.Did not depart terminal until 3, an hour late.Was in front 10 cars but because no trailer or caravan, almost last to.load. will be interesting to see what time we actually disembark.Not one apology or explanation. Just a person on loudspeaker encouraging us to buy their overpriced snack bar goods and alcohol.Additionally, with Covid we have held a booking since 2019. We were not refunded, the owners pulled the we are just a small family business

Booked a return trip 2 weeks in advance. Partner booked RDO's, both all very excited for 3 nights on Moreton....then came the storms that have smashed QLD. Contacted Moreton Island Ferries to regarding inclement weather issues and could we take a credit instead and travel another time. Ferry staff weren't interested and showed zero compassion. Forfeited the ticket so hard earnt money might as well have been burnt. I understand a passenger agrees to the term sand conditions but one would have thought it would have been nice for the company to have shown some understanding due to the violent storms we have had and still having. Especially a I wasn't chasing a refund just was requesting the fare could sit as a credit till we could travel again.Very disappointed in them. But of course they have a monopoly on travel to the Island so couldn't care less. Never mind the customer its all about the profit. Shame there are no other companies doing it as i would switch allegiance in a heartbeat.

Excellent service, expensive to get to Morton but worth it. Wouldn't recommend the pies on the ferry but beers are cold.

The ferry service was excellent and time efficient, however would not recommend buying anything from kitchen as they used same cloth to wipe Everything down! And duster where they put pies n sausage rolls. Train your staff on infection control and food handling!!

Both the big and smaller catamaran are fast and comfortable. Staff are friendly. Basic snacks and drinks available on board both boats. Generally the boats will be full during the middle of the day services. Several services each day both directions. If heading over to stay on the island make sure you arrive an hour early to drop off bags to be loaded into cargo prior to boarding. In choppy seas the smaller boat can get bumpy.

Very rude Deck staff

The ferry process is quick and easy. The leave bang on the time on the ferry ticket so make sure you get there 30-45 minutes before.The air on the boat is really handy, although it would be difficult for someone who doesn't have a tyre gauge to check the pressure.Maybe upgrade from a wand to a gauge.The staff were really friendly at the barge and the cafe. There is plenty of seating inside and on the top level outside.

Won’t refund even if COVID causes cancellation. Don’t risk it!
