This is the train station with the best views in Brisbane City, Shorncliffe station over looks the Sandgate golf course which is a nice view compared to staring at another dull train platform across. No public toilets on premises and it has 1 soft drinking vending machine.

Okay, do we could catch the train from anywhere along the trainline. We drive, park, and ride.BUT...We choose Shorncliffe.The parking is great, and there's amazing trees, so there's opportunities shade on offer. Also, you can always get a parking spot.It is the end of the line, and the train parks here for a longer time, so you never really ever miss the train.The station is more like a country village in the UK... just in it's painted weatherboard presentation, with some flower gardens. It shows the added touch. The care.

A quiet and tranquil station during the middle of the day but can get a bit busy in the early mornings and early evenings. Wouldn't recommend the toilets though as they can be a bit messy at times and it needs a new face lift.
