It's a pricey stay for a few nights, but appreciated after some strenuous hiking. The spa bath was much needed. Rooms are a good size. The kitchen could do with a frypan and a good-sized pot for pastas. The food was good in the restaurant. Pleasant staff.

The spa cottages are roomy - they have lounge seating and table/chairs and a patio table/chairs. The spa was wonderful. Bathrooms nice. Bed comfortable. Heaters very effective. The restaurant for Christmas lunch was absolutely awesome. Couldn't speak more highly. The takeaway menu for dinners was incredibly tasty. We did not feel the need to go to the restaurant for dinners.Only complaint: there were no fans in the room for air movement or when the temperature was warm. This affected us most in the afternoon (4-6ish) once we were back from day hikes. For context, we were told we had magical" days -- 5 days in a row of sunny clear skies in December.Animals: we saw echidna

The location is really good for park and Visitor Centre access; my spa chalet was roomy and clean, with a comfortable bed, although the fridge had not been cleaned properly and stank like off cheese so I was not impressed given the hefty price per night. Also no wifi / internet in chalets which was frankly disappointing. I had remembered to bring my own groceries as I had heard the restaurant wasn’t available and that the food truck was a bit pricey for what was available. I had forgotten wine and bought a bottle only to find it was $11 more expensive than the neighbouring caravan park! So not impressed and management comments about the cost of transporting goods up the mountain not supported by the facts. You would sell more if your prices were competitive! Yes I really enjoyed my stay but I don't consider this resort 5 star and having stayed in lovely eco chalets in other parts of Tassie for half the price, no, I don’t think it’s worth the money. Great location for hiking; yes the spa was nice although view of trees over-rated and overall I would probably stay elsewhere if I came back to Cradle.

Just everything is so perfect. The spa is amazing. Whole place is clean and cozy. 6min walk to the visitor centre. Quiet and a lot of privacy. Staff are friendly. Heater and fireplace work so well that you cannot feel the almost 0 degree weather outside. Definitely recommend it to everyone!

Went for a weekend away with my partner, rooms were well kept and clean. Spa had a great view of the forest and the staff were friendly, professional and very accommodating.

Nice accomodation in a great location. Although the staff was pleasant enough I do think that the “breakfast hamper” is a bit of a rip off. 35$ for 4 slices of bread, tiny bit of jam/peanut butter/Vegemite and a glass of orange juice+milk is a bit much…50$ if you add eggs….I would recommend packing your own breakfast when you come here as there is a fridge, stove etc..

Rooms are a little dated but good for what they are. They have everything you need for your stay. The restuarant has had a fire or something so they have a food van that does pretty basic food. Great location

A beautiful location where the local wildlife is at your doorstep! The rooms are well appointed, warm and comfortable. The accommodation is close to the visitors centre for access to Dove Lake and Cradle Mountain. We were lucky enough to have snow fall (in late November!) on our last day. A truly magical location!

It's very annoying to find flyers on your car when you have visited Cradle Mountain. This shows me they have no respect for the environment as it is a waste of paper. And people toss paper away, I saw some laying around on the ground. Also, I did not ask for commercial flyers. It actually made me skip this restaurant and we drove further for a lovely bite.If you want to make people aware, use a sustainable option and put a sign on the road.

The chalet was well equipped with everything you need, spacious, warm and comfortable. The balcony had a beautiful view of the wilderness and we had some lovely wildlife visitors. Only feedback is that it is a far walk from the restaurant / bar and there are no lights, which felt a bit hazardous and unsafe. Other than that, a very pleasant stay!
