I did the Human factors Course and found it to be both informing and difficult to the degree where you had to really think >I have done this course previously with another facility and found it disconected and boring and fell asleep and still bassed the extremely weak exams

The staff are definitely on a power trip! The instructors are awesome and knowledgeable, but the place falls apart due to the student contact making life difficult and unaccommodating for the paying student. **DO NOT DO YOUR CERT 4 TRAINING HERE IF YOU CAN AVOID IT** Within the first couple of months they changed the re-sit prices for exams from 50$ per re-sit to full prices after making it clear from the start that they were 50$. Great potential and facilities, its a shame that the wrong people are in the wrong roles.

Great day out for everyone, the aircraft experience is one of the best things to do at the expo. Staff are friendly and it's free.

I purchased a flight experience voucher for my partner's 30th birthday. Due to COVID-19, the expiry date for the voucher was extended, and it was clearly stated on the ticket that the voucher is valid until 03/08/2023.However, the company no longer accepts online bookings this year. We attempted to book MULTIPLE times over the phone, but the person in charge of bookings was consistently unavailable due to being busy, on break, or in a meeting. Instead of honestly informing us that there were no available booking slots due to the closure of the business for general public flight experiences, they collected our contact numbers and full names each time and promised to call back, but they never did.We only discovered that there were no booking spaces available at all now, despite the ticket being valid until August 2023. They stated that a refund was possible and directed me to another email. I sent an email with my booking references and the necessary details, but they have not replied.I am appalled by the unprofessional customer service provided by Aviation Australia. I kindly request a reply to my email and prompt processing of the refund. I did not receive the service I paid for, and it is unacceptable to avoid contact and potentially withhold my money.

I have dealt with the Aviation Australia instructors numerous times on a professional level.I found the instructor I dealt with as my point of contact to have the highest level of professionalism and understanding, when given a tour of the facility I found this instructor to have a wealth of knowledge and patience as they took myself and those from my workplace through all Aviation Australia had to offer, the patience of the team throughout our tour was second to none with no question being left unanswered.I would highly recommend anyone thinking of a future in Aviation to contact AA and see what they have to offer, as I believe you would be hard pressed to find any learning institution in this sector to be of the standard and quality that the team here have on offer, not only do they display the highest academic standards but also in the safety aspects as well. You will be well prepared for a future in the Aviation Industry when you complete your training here that is without a doubt!

Money talks. International students who pay big money are given preferential treatment over domestic students. $5500 for domestic students for 5 subjects completed in 12 months. Disorganized is being polite. Outdated resources I.e. (health and safety module you should wear asbestos gloves"). No formal subjects recorded on the student's USI number at the end of the course."

Horrible resources. most of the teachers are on a power trip. Would not recommend this place to anyone, it is not the “adult learning” they advertise it is basically going back to high school but worse.

Wow, just wow! So, my son has been training there for almost 12months. In that time, he sits in a room, with a book, and answers the questions! Doesn’t require assistance, as, he has been in aviation since the age of 8, and been flying since the age of 9. My son has stated numerous times, that the course is just basic fundamentals of safety (completed all compliance and legislation knowledge for his RPL, human aspects), it has come to the point in which the time off is reflecting on my sons academic results, thus, my request to complete theory externally, whilst coming in to complete the practical, as, it is NO different from in the classroom, as, his instructor can attain, he, sits down, answers the questions, without assistance, and leaves for the day.I tried to reason with Stephen. However, his condescending nature, saying I was speaking over him, when, the whole conversation, I felt I had to fight to be heard, as he, kept cutting me off, mid sentence, being outright condescending, making comments such as ‘we value safety’ blah blah, yet, my sons utmost importance is safety and the relevance of completing a task correctly, and it shows, as he flies planes UNACCOMPANIED at 16years of age………. As he has his RPL and has his ASIC card……What I’m trying to say is, there is zero flexibility and it seems it’s just a money grab. Happy to take the funds, but, not work with you to achieve the common goal. They will just wipe their hands of you and not give you a second thought. We were looking into further studies with Aviation Australia for our sons pilot career, which is well on its way. However, will be re-evaluating and sending our son to an actual aviation school. It’s not what you know, it’s WHO you know, and it shows aviation australia, very sad.
