Ate here, food was below average and pretty expensive for what it was. 5 hours later i was sick till the next day. Run badly by a bunch of kids and the waiter needs to take a shower. Wouldn't step foot in there ever again.In response to your claim that i somehow don't exist, i must be AI then. Maybe a call to the health dept will prove my existence.

10/10!! My partner and I stopped in Mackay for the night with our daughter and decided to have dinner at this beautiful bar. The service was out of this world, they even went as far as offering a kids cup with orange juice for our daughter and to purée some potato for us and make sure that our daughter was happy and fed well just in case she wouldn’t be able to eat the food they had on offer. They were so attentive, We haven’t experienced such amazing service like this before and will 100% be back. Not to forget to mention the food was absolutely beautiful and the craft beer/cocktails were delicious. Zero complaints, this establishment deserve all the praise. If you’re dropping through Mackay or live there give these people a go.

Service and drinks were good but the food is not worth the hype. Our chicken was undercooked with no concern given by the waiter/chef. We definitely won't be back.

Great food and great beer selection.We went with the coursed meal and swapped out a few things, which was a great way to do it. Everything was excellent food wise and there was more than we could finish.The bar has a great beer selection that you do not often see (I wish I could have tried more and did not have to drive after, but can't win them all...). They also have interesting cocktails and a good wine selection.The only real downside was the service. They were very pleasant, but super slow even though it was not busy. We often found our drinks empty and waiting on the next course.That said we would definitely eat here again!

First time at this restaurant, and I got to tell you it's amazing to see so many passionate people that love what they do with the food , service and the customer experience. We had the 3 course set meals and they were amazing I really enjoyed the Morton Bay bugs they had served up in a Lettuce leaf it was fresh, creamy I think I have found my new favourite seafood dish. To the owner that took his time to show my boss a little bit of where the magic happens behind the kitchen. They had a good experience!

This was such a beautiful place to eat. The staff were incredible and the staff were incredible. One of the servers Dan was so good at his job he was pre-emptive with his service. Good range of beers and the cocktails were great. The food was delicious and there were a wide range of options.

The place is overall very nice, lovely atmosphere and very modern, not a typical Mackay place. Service was great, could not fault it. Drinks were good, and food presentation was excellent. However, we did not like the food - for some reason our meals were super salty, dry and tasted like it was prepped yesterday and reheated in the microwave. We had a 4 course menu - pork belly was very dry, and churros that our waitress bragged about were so dry. Overall, very average. My partner and I love trying new food and are willing to pay for great food - however, we just couldn’t justify paying $300 for something that is so average. So yes we’ll come back for drinks, but not for food.

10/10 went for a dinner for my partner’s 30th and the service and professionalism was top notch! Food was absolutely amazing, drink service was fantastic too!They stored and brought the cake out for us even had birthday music playing through the speakers as the cake came out. 100% will return. Thanks for making his night one to remember. Well done team at Bar94

Best food I have eaten so far. I had the pleasure of meeting Dan and his friendly staff. I was in Mackay on a business trip and happened to come across this place. Dan even went as far as to take me into his kitchen and I got to meet the chefs. Great charcoal steak and chicken. Extensive wine list too. Just amazing

I've been in Mackay for nearly 2 years and haven't had the chance to eat here. Decided to do lunch after 2 friends recommended this place. I can see why! It's almost like they can read your taste buds! The servings are generous, made with care, detail & love. The flavors are amazing. Priced well for the size and quality. The service is out of this world. Relaxed vibe, great tunes and ambience. I thoroughly recommend... Will definitely be back with friends.
