TLDR: savoury dishes fine, dessert bad, service levels poor, nice ambienceFull review: work team dinner event so we were on the set menu. The wait staff kept track of my allergy well though they kept losing track of who the vegetarians were. Everyone except me enjoyed their entrees and main. The vegetarian dishes were apparently also good. I just got different types of fried meat and potatoes for both entree and main, and usually without any sauce or flavouring so it was quite plain and boring. This brought the restaurant to 3 stars to me but this wasn't the issue that brought them down to 2 stars.Biggest blunders both happened to be related to service...1. The set menu did not quite provide enough food per person. When the director went to order additional dishes, he was told by the wait staff he wasn't allowed to. This was even after the director clarified he intended to pay for the extra food. It took a while, and some arguing, before management clarified with the waiter that we're allowed to order extra dishes on top of the set menu2. When the mains came out, the waiter uncannily placed the meatballs in front each of the vegetarians. When we told him that they were vegetarians, he said that the meatballs were share dishes. It was only when he was challenged on this that he went to check and came back to tell us they were mains per person.The churros were also a disappointment to everyone who selected it from the set menu. They weren't quite crispy on the outside and the dough on the inside wasn't quite cooked through. There was also barely any cinnamon and sugar on them. The accompanying chocolate sauce was fine though. No one commented on the cake.

Good food, ambience and service at Tinto, enjoyed with a nice glass of Tempranillo. My wife who has been here a few times, says that this place is consistently good. Was my first time. Looking forward to returning again.

Love this place. The food was delicious. The staff were so amazing and helpful in choosing our food. They really knew their food and wine. Atmosphere was really lovely. We will be back.

Food was incredible. Service by the manager was great, she made our experience so memorable.We ordered three tapas, one paella, and three desserts to share. All worth the $.Chef is an absolute gold find. Can’t wait to come back!

Let me tell you….Last time I ate at this restaurant was in August 2022 some colleagues invited me over and we loved it.My husband and I are both Latin background and we enjoy eating out therefore I decided to take him to Tinto, but it was a great disappointment, first of all the quality and flavours were not as it used to be or of the regular tapas.we started with entrees but we decided it was not worth to follow up with mains. We couldn’t even eat the patatas bravas they were absolutely disgusting especially that spicy oily, I think I mainly enjoyed the olives and the gluten free bread and there weren’t a great variety of gluten free food that I would like either, These were the worth $200.00 ever spent anywhere. I don’t know what happened here from August last year till now, but we are not returning to dine here again !!! The staff are what saves this place but I came here to eat not to make friends!!…..

Cute little wine bar. Great vibes. Food was a bit on the pricy side but quite good. Would definitely go back.

Outstanding service by the senior staff. But the food was pretty average given the price. Paella was too salty while the cauliflower was bland. The only dishes we like were entrees : fried calamari and prawn.

Although the calamari and anchovy dishes were good, the service left much to be desired. Twice we ordered and the staff misunderstood the order, one staff member was abrupt from the start which did not make our evening enjoyable.Would go back for the anchovies and calamari.

Yet another wonderful meal at Tinto, every dish was great especially the prawns which were a good size and fresh, the garlic freshly sliced in the GAMBAS al AJILLO and the lamb neck melted it was so tender. Warm friendly and efficient service from our Spanish waiter who remembered us from a visit months ago and good moody lighting made the whole evening a great night out.
