Petit Early Learning Journey Caloundra

My son loves it at Petit Caloundra. He started when he was 8 months old and has settled in so well and is thriving. The girls in the nursery are so accommodating and lovely. We feel so comfortable that he is having an absolute blast on his daycare days.

Petit have made our family so welcome! Our daughter is very happy there and it is so lovely to see her forming such positive relationships with the staff.

I feel so lucky that both our children get to attend Petit Caloundra. Every single educator takes so much pride with the education and care they provide our kids. My son had a particularly hard time adjusting to daycare and all the educators, including the director Doug, did everything they could to help him adjust happily. They are inclusive of special care needs, my son has his AHA visit him in studio each fortnight, which allows him to practice his therapy in real world circumstances. I cannot recommend Petit Caloundra enough, they are the best!

When I moved to Caloundra a little over a year and a half ago, I was tossing up between Petit and another centre. In order to even tour the other centre I had to enrol my children, then get them in for a transition day. Coming from a Reggio centre, I couldn’t wrap my head around the mess and chaos these kids were exposed to. I conceded it was not the centre for me.When I called Petit, I was welcomed with open arms for a tour, no lengthy enrolments needed first. I entered the centre, there was a beautiful sense of calm and order. The playground had so many inviting & challenging areas that my toddler took an instant liking too. Everything in each room was an invitation to play and child led.We have been at petit for 18 months now. My kids love it and I do too. There is a sense of community there and parents are invited to get involved in many different activities. We’ve made friends there because of this. When problems have arised, they’ve been attended too, honestly, with empathy and understanding.The educators there are first class and so passionate about what they do. I couldn’t reccomended Petit Early Learning highly enough. We are so lucky to belong to the community there.

Petit ELJ Caloundra is a brilliant daycare and kindy. Both of my children have been attending since the beginning of 2021, and it has been so heartening to see them blossom into creative, thoughtful and kind people, thanks in huge part to Petit. They have totally flourished under the nurturing support of the wonderful educators. The whole team are super responsive, supportive and communicative, and the atmosphere is always warm and calm. I cannot fault the facilities or the staff!

Great centre! We moved our children here this year and all of the educators have been amazing with them. They’ve settled in beautifully and we absolutely love the Haven Place and treasure cove studios.

I have always been happy with the level of care that my children have received (over the last 4 years combined) in the center, both of them have always enjoyed daycare and are always excited to tell me about their days and have always bonded well with their educators.Despite the changes the center has been through over the years, which at times I have been concerned if this could effect the kids but I also feel as though in the last year especially the potential has grown immensely and the kids always remain happy.

Wasn’t allowed in the room of where the staff and children were in, not sure how I’m meant to do a tour of outside of where my child will be. Constant reviews about complaints not being heard, no responds and staff never staying. The male who runs the centre doesn’t connect with children or know how to speak to them. Doesn’t show to have any love for children or give any feeling of trust or comfort. He palms off any questions u have to the staff that I couldn’t meet that day apparently. I then sent an email with my questions after they sent me an inrollment application, my questions were ignored and so were my concerns. Always pays to tour the daycare and look at reviews!!I will not be sending my child here, after reading the reviews and giving it a go anyway I was very disappointed

Amazing centre! We were unsure of where to take our daughter for her first daycare experience as we’ve had some rough experiences in the past with our eldest son. From the day our daughter has been here every educator has been more than amazing with helping our daughter feel comfortable and happy with all, even the Directors have been amazing with her.We can’t recommend these guys enough

We have been taking our 2 girls here 4 days a week for just over two months.The teachers are so lovely and super easy to communicate with. On pick up they can tell me all about the girls days and things they were interested in or activities they were doing. I can’t thank the teachers at Petit enough for making this transition to not only a new school but for us a new state so seamless and showing the girls love and attention every day.It is evident through their excitement and eagerness to go to school just how much they enjoy it, which makes our lives 100x easier.The teachers here truly care about the kids and the relationships they have is so nice to see even in the short few months we have been here.
