Oaks Casuarina Santai Resort

A beautiful resort with all aspects close to perfect. Great rooms with all the necessary amenities. Two king size beds, two en suites. The pools and gardens are outstanding. Friendly helpful staff including cleaners. I'd stay here again any day.

Really nice resort, pool is beautiful (very cold) and the spa is big and warm!We were disappointed with the room (2 bedroom apartment). The location was odd, at the back of the resort down some stairs (room 340). Our view was a construction site and homes being built. We felt like what we paid $550 per night, we would at least have a pool view.I would come back, however I wouldn’t book a 2bedroom apartment again as the location was very very disappointing!

Great few days relaxing. Unit balconies are a little close to each other and pool area and not enough room for more deck chairs but only 100 m to beach and 50m to shops and eateries - lovely in house/take away food - beautiful spot - highly recommended!

It's a lovely resort but showing signs of age and needs a bit of TLC. Some pressure cleaning would not go astray. Beach is a couple of minutes walk away, as is a basic shopping centre.

Very average stay. Quite disappointing considering how nice the resort looks and is advertised on line.Front desk service is minimal at best.Cockroaches in the room. Our room had a lovely view over construction sites and of course had the construction noise to go with it, plus had constant issues with the fancy foxtel/t.v/wifi setup, to which no one cared.Mattress was rock hard and pillows as thin as pancakes.Was meant to have a mid stay room service which never happened, had wet towels all week from cleaning up the flooding that occurred from just having a shower, which shares the same space as the toilet.No lift access to eastern side so stairs only and if you have trouble walking up or down stairs, good luck. Seems lift has been out of order for awhile.The only food outlet on site is open 5 nights a week. No other options for a casual snack or drink throughout the day.The spa was randomly emptied mid stay with no reason or explanation why. It was the only pool being used as the other two were freezing. Plus tripped over the random pool cleaning equipment that was always left out in the lanai lounge area.Head 5 minutes further north and stay either at the mantra or the peppers and have a much nicer holiday. My first and last time staying at this resort.

Beautiful areas, swimming pool was really good and Spa. Bedroom was ok not much privacy. No cleaning service during 4 days of stay, no change of towels or new amenities, Customer service could be better!7 out of 10Location is ok but there is not Uber and public transport was hard. I recommend renting a car.Restaurant inside the hotel was incredible 10 out of 10 super recommended ✨

Excellent receptionist and service. Room was immaculate!General common space was clean but aging signs on some structures noticed but can be overlooked if there for a day or two.I will be happy to rebook again

I've stayed at this resort over 10 times, sometimes good, sometimes bad. We had organised with the reception for a late check in. Only 10 minutes after the reception closed we arrived to be told that they could not check us in after hours (9:08pm) and that we should just sleep in our car after driving for 10 hours. Will never stay here again or at an OAKS property.Also they had no problem taking payment straight away over the phone.THEY SHOULD TRY EMPLOYING ACTUAL HUMANS WITH FEELINGS.

The worst that I have stayed in. Discrimination to some extent. Few lizards (dead and alive) on site. A turkey was at the pool area, knocking down people's belongings. Unfortunately no one available to take it away. Rooms are not clean. No room service, no house keepers!! You have to clean your own room. Pool is not clean. Reception closes at 9pm. Night manager was supposed to be available by phone, but never ever responded to my calls. Reception area is very dirty, with spider webs in 1 of their glass cabinets. The washing machine damaged my clothes, got dark spots on my white shirt and shorts. No privacy in the toilet, as it has an open space for everyone to see your business. We requested for pool view, paid for the pool view, but no rooms was available with pool view, although many of the rooms were empty. The room that was initially provided to us was a remote room, with stairs and a construction site view. Food at the downstairs restaurant is not cooked inside, some were overcooked. Bugs on 1 of the couches, which bit me a few places. Bad experience. Will never recommend this place to anyone. Bad experience. Cleanliness is negative ratings.

Really unhelpful staff over the phone before I have even got to the hotel.To use the sofa bed in room $48 per nightAsked can we have just extra bedding and told that would still be $48 per night. I explained it’s cheaper for me to buy some sheets and she said even if you get here we won’t give extra bedding unless you pay. One bedding per room.There is just 2 of us that want our own cover as we are 2 girls.So I am now taking my own bedding with meI am a travel agent and this has completely put me off wanting to stay with you or even booking again.Out of 20 years selling travel have I ever heard you can’t ask for an extra sheet or cover without paying. Just seems all you want is revenue and don’t care about guests. Should have booked Peppers.
