15 months ago I had a small roof repair job done at a cost of $1,375. In recent heavy rain, there was a leak through that roof repair job. This can cause expensive repairs to Gyprock ceilings. When I contacted them personally in Caloundra on 24/10, I was met with an aggressive defensive man claiming to be a Mc Arthur. I notice that Mc Arthur Plumbing responds favourably to good reviews; but they ignore the bad reviews. I would suggest that roof repairs is not their area of expertise & they should avoid it.

We always use McArthur Plumbing as they are always really quick if you've got a leak or emergency. They are also great at recommending taps and other plumbing hardware and supply and install at very reasonable prices.

We were lucky to have Liam help us with our leaking toilet and tap not working properly. Punctual, courteous just a really nice young helpful man. Of course he fixed the problems with a minimum of fuss. Job well done and very efficiently. Thank you McArthur Plumbing

Have been using these guys for a very long time - Josh and Liam are the best. Everything gets done fast - top quality work and the price is always fair.

My recent experience has not encouraged me to remain a customer.I have had previous dealings with this business which were good, however the latest experience resulted in a water leak through a ceiling, followed by a problem with with a solar hot water system in the days immediately after the job was done.I emailed the business 1 week after paying their invoice to see if they would come around to investigate if anything done may have contributed. I did receive a call and were told they would look into it & call back - no response after a week.I followed up with an email, which resulted in a call being received. The person calling advised they had not read my email, so I had to explain the situation again. I had requested they come & investigate or, after 2 weeks of no action, provided an option of engaging an independent plumber to investigate. Both options were denied and I was given the only option of investigation at my cost (about $120 per hour). After consideration, I called back and agreed and was told the office would call me with a time and date. 3 days later, today, still no contact.Also, to this point, there has been no apology for the water through the ceiling, which was more than the '300 /400 mls' the person on the phone told me it would have been - despite them not being there on the day, or even bothering to read my email.So today I contacted a plumber, within 30 mins they were around to inspect, offered a solution and have booked in the job.Hopefully this feedback will help to sort out some of the issues.

As you probably know, getting a plumber to show up on time and do a good job is tougher post covid hysteria. I am delighted to say Liam from McArthur did just that and we can highly recommend him.

We're very happy with the result of Josh and Cody's work from Mc Arthur Plumbing. Their approach was personable and professional.They explained the process and thoughts to remedy the sewer pipes issue which I appreciated. The resultant charge for their work I felt was very reasonable. I would recommend Mc Arthur Plumbing.The only reason I gave 4 not 5 stars is that I would have liked a follow up email from my initial phone conversation and booking. I needed to ring back myself a few days before the date spoken about on the phone and confirm booking date and arrival of team.Cheers Peter and Christine

Very impressed with the young man that came out to help my 91 yr old Mum with her tap issues recently. He was friendly and helpful and very kind to an old lady. He was easy going but very professional. I’mSorry I can’t remember his name. Also I made the call in the morning and he was there in the early afternoon. Very responsive. Happy with the whole process and will definitely call again when any plumbing jobs are needed to be done. Thank you so much. Highly recommended.

We have used Mc Arthur Plumbing for 40 years and found them to be wonderful, responding promptly in emergencies , always sort the problem and repairs excellent. Highly recommend to newcomers to coast. Charges very reasonable .John & MarilynGolden Beach
