Snowtown Community Club

Whole club run by volunteers, great meal, sons steak was hover hanging the plate (huge). Great value for money, great community atmosphere

Good over night stop with power water toilets dump point and rubbish bins and camp kitchen. Can be a little noisy at times but we got a good night's rest.

Great meals... when there's great workers on in the kitchen.The two young boys Simeon & Broja did an outstanding job on Australia Day helping with the cooking in the kitchen and waitering in the dining room. Hope they return again. In saying this, (They were offered to work in the kitchen on a Friday and Saturday by the leader of the country club). Way to go boys!! Woohoo.Meals are well priced.Chicken snitzels and Rump are a great big size and taste yummy.Salads could have a better variety.***Just a suggestion - a description and a photo of each meal on the menu should be on display for all the volunteers to follow as a guide, so portion control of a bucket of chips don't get served with a whole bowl one week and the following week only 8 chips in a cardboard box. No one knows what portion to give, so this needs to be looked at for future volunteers to know.******Another thing, the timing of meals coming out of the kitchen, serve children meals first followed with adults meals. Have noticed adults receiving meals before tgeir children, who are playing up, crying or being impatient, cos their meals are not infront of them. More focus needed on Time management ****** I know it's a small club but with raffles... why is their only one raffle prize? There should be a fruit platter prize, carton of beer prize, box of handcrafted chocolates prize, meat tray prize, a petrol voucher prize, in the one raffle. Just a suggestion.... ******Is there any local artists in town, able to showcase their tasteful talent on a Friday and Saturday night over dinner, local entertainnent would be awesome***That's it from me. ☺ cheers
