Went there twice, because NSW is a fish and chips desert, and I was returning home soon. The fish was fresh and well-cooked. The chips okay the first time. The second time they were quite poor: some were stale, indicating they'd been sitting around under lights for some time and the others badly overcooked. Again, the fish was fine. But I'm not talking about cordon bleu cooking here. It's isn't rocket surgery to get such a simple product *right*!

Amazing fish n chips from Pete, many take away businesses could take some advice to how Bella Providore do beer battered fish, a wonderful feed.

We ordered takeaway on the night of the winter festival which was extremely busy! I was so impressed with how calm and friendly the staff were even though they were totaly under pressure. They did a great job of keeping orders in order and getting through them as quickly as possible.All our takeaway food was cooked to perfection. I'll ever go as far as to say it's the best we've had in a long, long time. We will definitely be back even if it means a trip to metung just for these fish and chips.

Flathead pieces were simply outstanding - well done! Potatoe cakes were spot on. Order was ready quickly. I look forward to coming back when there are potato chips available. Great job team :) [January '23]

I'm very surprised by the low rating on Google of this place. The food is so fresh and so good. Fish and chips are awesome and the double beef patty burger is out of the world! For people that are not happy with the price, the price has gone up everywhere not just them.

Awesome customer service. The calamari was cooked to perfection and so we're the great chips. They were kind enough to check the ingredients on the ice-cream(for emulsifier 471) and the donor kabab meat to verify the contents. We were then sure that our dietary needs were meet (for halal).

Double beef patty burger was so so so good! Just a no nonsense classic Aussie burger. The staff were super friendly and the barramundi was beautiful! Everything we got was awesome. Highly recommend if you are looking for a tasty bite to eat in Metung.

Absolute disgrace. Ordered a flake that was the size of my 4 year olds palm, 4 potatoe cakes, 2 scallops, 4 fish bites and a souvlaki (that I had to throw in the bin as the meat was in edible and we were charged $58!!) When I rang up to voice my concerns I was told to ring back at another time!! This just shows the lack of care they have for their customers and terrible customer service they provide. I wish there was a no star option.

I agree with the great review of Sisi Han. The reviews on Google do not do this place justice it seems! It is super clean, fast, well organized and I had a very friendly and helpful server. I ordered a 'minimum' chips and one dimsum and had some much food (and of super quality - great quality potatoes used for the fries and nice chicken salt) I could barely finish it. All in all less than $10! Super super great and highly recommended! Note; pizza's take about 20 minutes so call ahead. Chips etc. take only about 5-10 minutes and mine was ready in no time. Local tip: eat on the nearby jetty.

What a find in Metung! We were looking for halal-suitable fish and chip shops and landed here. The attendant was so helpful! As their battered fish all has alcohol (which we wanted to avoid even though most of it does get fried out) he advised us to go for the grilled option, and we went for it with the gummy shark which was good. The calamari rings and chips however, were the absolute best! Those calamari rings were amazing - tender, generous, crispy and delicious (no alcohol in them). We also had the golden syrup dumplings with boysenberry ripple ice-cream - YUM! The highlight though was the service and effort taken to check ingredients and meet our dietary needs. Really appreciate it. It's going to be a definite visit from us to this place every time we're in this area.
