My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the prix fixe lunch on Saturday.Presentation was stylish without being pretentious. All food was flavoursome without being overbearing. Meal sizes were perfect. We were surprised to see some of the other reviews, which were unduely harsh for the restaurant we visited and enjoyed, and will return to.

We had the Kilpatrick oysters to start with. The sauce on the oysters were too eatery and diluted. For entres we had ordered the escargot bit there was only one serving left so we had the onion soup as a replacement. Soup was ok nothing special. The escargot es great especially the pastry. For mains we had the Southern France prawn linguini and the cherry duck. Both dishes sauces were too salty.

Beautifully cooked and served French food. Everything on the menu is prepared and cooked to a very high standard. Oysters are the best I have ever eaten. A true fine dining experience.

Was looking forward to some great French food and it was tasty, but the pate left a lot to be desired. Service was not good as waiters stood watching the table while we poured our own wine! Would I return, no. A shame though as the Coast needs a good French Restaurant.

Quaint and cosy little fine dining restaurant.Food was very nice with generous portions for the mains. Will be back again to try more dishes.One slight critique would be more attentive customer service.

We were tourists visiting the Gold Coast and we found the meals in the restaurant is good, the only thing we may have regretted was the standard of service:1. the waiter did not clean our table before each dish was served.2. we received our main course without cutlery3. The tiger prawns were in a very salty sauce and our main course included a French duck dish, which unfortunately was all soaked in sorrel sauce that you could barely get the flavor of the duck, but the scallops were excellent as an appetizer

Lovely experience upon sitting down we were welcome with parsnip soup . Service staff was really lovely . Ambience is very relaxing and chill perfect for an intimate date night.Food and plating is super amazing !

The risotto was way too salty and so much sauce on it, we can’t even finish half . crepe was too much sauce ok it and way too sweet . Disappointed meal and the way too hot in the restaurant, everyone were sweating.

Our group of 8 booked in for Sunday lunch in late May and it was fantastic! The 3-course set menu was so well priced and food was delicious. It’s a small restaurant space but worked well for our big group and a few smaller groups dining at the same time. Highly recommend for a yummy French meal!

The entree pate was quite nice,but everything else behind were quite disappointing. The main course steak was over cooked , very dry and tasteless. The French crepe dessert tasted like rubber, extremely dry with no moisture at all. Staff are not friendly as no one has a smile on their face. However the lunch prices do match the quality of their food.
