Fantastic surfing lesson - great fun and well taught by Damien who gave easy instructions and made us feel safe. I got up and was standing within a few tries. Highly recommend.

I recently took a surfing class with Damian and had an amazing experience! Damian was a great instructor who made the class both informative and fun. He was incredibly personable and made sure to pay attention to every student's needs (there were 5 of us - adults), ensuring that we all felt comfortable and confident while riding the waves. Damian was also very accommodating, taking the time to provide individual attention and advice to each of us. Overall, I highly recommend this surfing class and especially Damian as an instructor. Thanks for an unforgettable experience!

I organised for my two grandsons to have their first surfing lesson. They are 8 and 6 years old and they both thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Lara spent a lot of time with them as it was quite rough but they both managed to stand up (briefly). Wonderful Christmas holiday activity!

Go Ride a Wave - Broadbeach
We had a surf lesson with Damo. It was our first time surfing, and he was absolutely incredible. He started by explaining surf safety with rips, hand signaling, and how to avoid being taken out by your board while walking out. He then showed us the parts of the board, how to catch a wave lying down had us do a few land drills before going out. Later he brought us back on land and taught us how to stand up with emphasis on the things to avoid doing. We then went back out to try.Damo was very friendly, professional, and a great help both in and out of the water. I would highly recommend these lessons for first-time surfers!

I've never surfed before and the instructor explained everything in a way that made it easy to learn. I was standing up on the board by the end of the lesson, fell off a lot and probably looked goofy but I was wrapped. I will definitely try surfing more.

We had a really fun surf lesson with Jason at broadbeach. There were two of us and we have never surfed, he explained everything and made it enjoyable. We both managed to stand up on a few waves and with more time we would have smashed it. Really recommend.

It was a pleasure to participate in surf lesson in Go ride a wave! Our instructor, Dennis was really focused on teaching us all basics we needed to catch waves and stand up! So we did! All in our group (6 of us) managed that! Thank U Dennis - Monika&Krzysztof :)
