Niki Simpson Hair & Makeup

Niki did stunning bridesmaid makeup for me for my best friend’s wedding, natural and lasted beautifully. Requested a private makeup lesson with her for my birthday and it was amazing! Specific skincare and makeup product recommendations and a much needed update to the techniques I learnt on YouTube in 2009. It was a beautiful experience and it is great to be able to recreate her beautiful natural look.

Niki did such an amazing job for my wedding day and I felt so beautiful. It's nerve wrecking having someone else do your hair & make up on such a momentous occasion but she made the whole experience a complete breeze and she delivered on my initial brief. My hair and make-up also withstood the test of time - I was amazed that even after a long day/evening everything was still looking great. I highly recommend Niki for bridal makeup.

Niki is a fabulous make up teacher who is caring, knowledgable and kind. My mum and I visited Niki for a one on one make up lesson and we left extremely happy with the things we had learnt along with how the make up looked at the end of the lesson. I would highly recommend Niki to anyone who is new to make up to and wants to learn how to apply products with a fantastic result.

I'm a beginner with makeup and had a few bad experiences in the past. Niki is an expert in the beauty field and is very friendly and patient. She gave me useful makeup tips and taught me the best makeup techniques that suits me and my lifestyle. She also suggested the best products to use for my skin. She was very helpful when we were shopping at MECCA and was happy to talk about the brands I saw in the store and what they're best known for.I recommend her to anyone who is interested in learning how to use makeup :)

Niki and her team did the hair and makeup for my wedding August 2022 and I couldn’t recommend enough!Niki made the whole day so smooth sailing, and was so helpful in organising the prep before the wedding for my large bridal party.Our makeup looked glowing and captured our natural beauty while also staying on from 5am until midnight! I’m really grateful for the experience that I had with Niki! I recently had my trial hair done for my upcoming wedding. We (myself and two friends) booked in with Niki for a makeup lesson ahead of our weddings this year, and absolutely loved it!Niki was very knowledgeable and focused on the teaching us the techniques so we can apply it in other situations too. She also gave personalised guidance and recommendations on products and during the lesson catering to our different face shapes, eye shapes and skin tones.Highly recommend and would definitely book Niki again in the future.

Niki is a total pro and so lovely! She listens to what you want and the end result is really beautiful, natural-looking makeup and great hair that lasts all day and night. Use of cruelty-free products is an added bonus. Have had Niki do HMU twice now and would use again, no hesitation.

I was so thrilled to have Niki do my hair and make-up for my recent wedding (in February 2022). She was able to work her magic even on a tired forty something Mum (!)and made me feel so good on my wedding day! I felt so comfortable and it was so lovely to feel special and glamorous for the day. She had great suggestions for what might work for me. She was also such a calm presence on the day. It was just like having another friend there, to share that part of the day with. I had a makeup tutorial session with Nikki to learn more about what suits my skin tone/features. Nikki was welcoming and down to earth, and took the time to ensure all my questions were answered (and I had a lot!). She knew the products well and was able to advise me on a number of different skincare regimes. After the session this was all summarised for me which was a huge help. I find makeup and skincare a little overwhelming and stressful, and honestly don't have much confidence in my appearance, so I really appreciated her patience and felt she cared about the outcome. Thank you very much Nikki! If I ever need my makeup done in the future I would have no hesitations in reaching out to Nikki :)
