Former Cincotta Discount Chemist Glebe

Went to buy some Blackmores supplements here today, and in the past they've always price matched here when I've shown a competitor's price on my phone that's a few dollars cheaper, so I would have rated them 5 out of 5 stars.Today though they made a big song and dance about going to the back of the store and checking with the pharmacist, who was on the phone, so I had to wait around for that call to be finished, then he instructed his assistant to check their cost price, then a few more minutes waiting for that to happen, and since Chemist Warehouse had the supplement as a half price special, it was above their cost price, so then Cincotta refused to price match.So I bought multiple packs online from Chemist Warehouse, who also had a further 14% discount online (9% off for click frenzy, and 5% cashback), and free delivery for my order, so in the end Chemist Warehouse were even better value than half price, and they delivered it to my front door.So whilst they definitely have very good service here, Cincotta went down one notch in my opinion today as it's impossible for me to know their cost price, so a good rule of thumb is if it's more a few dollars cheaper elsewhere then save yourself the time and hassle, and buy it elsewhere.

Cincotta isn't always the cheapest, but it's nearly the cheapest, and it's more than worth it for the friendly and helpful staff.I have a prescription that has to stay at the first pharmacy where you get it filled. There's no way to transfer it other than by getting a whole new prescription, so I wanted to make sure it was a place I could trust.You might not think you need to trust a chemist, but I've had the doctor get stuff wrong on the prescription, I've got stuff wrong while talking to them, and I've even nearly run out of medication when I got called away for an emergency.Every single time the staff have figured things out for me. Best chemist ever in the area as its a lot cheaper and have a great range of stock. If you are looking for items you typically can't find in other shops, like special sized batteries, this is the place to go. They also offer pretty efficient prescriptions and is right next to Glebe medical center, so its pretty convenient to pick up your prescriptions there. You can even get free items on weekends (like toothbrush, bottle of water). What's not to like ?

Never come here for made up cream prescription! Wasting your time and money as they Would charged you more than double the price you would pay at other Cincotta branches.If I read the reviews here before going in there would of save me a lot of time and money.

Unfriendly check out experienced, I purchased some medication, the pharmacy was fine. While waiting for my medication I browsing around some National product and seeing some product listed 50% on a red notice on wall. I picked up Natio spa one minute body scrub(might not be exactly name) thought 50%, when paying the price was full so I asked and was told it was on old package?! And none left in the sale items. Not only the check out old lady was unfriendly when asking the price on the item or assistant, felt she just want me to pay (there was No customer waiting online except me)1. Sale items was not clear marked old or new package as I'm not professional not knowing what is old packaging or new2. If no sale items available why placing underneath the sake signboard which is rather misleading, and because I checked the price and the total paying amount and that why concerned before paying .3. Unwelcome feel at checkout ruin store reputation and sorry but in future will probably only do medication purchase but not the other items. Better go to price online in Broadway.

Wanted to get a prescription filled. The pharmacist was busy doing something for a few minutes (which is fine) but my existence went unnoticed. No sorry I'm a bit busy

Perfectly located for Glebe this chemist always has sales for everyday goods so stop in 3-4 times a week. The pharmacists are helpful and offer great advice for even the most novel medical issues. Often I have tried to stump them but have yet to be able to. Sometimes they give out free water which is also just swell.

Went in today to buy an oral liquid syringe and your chemist (Blonde male) assumed My partner was a junkie looking for a needle to shoot up with just because he had tattoos and turned us away. Very short and dismissive. I then thought impossible that you wouldn’t have this and spoke to your absolutely lovely cashier and they were able to give us what we needed. You really should speak with your staff not to judge people.

How can you guarantee the confidentiality of lottery winners when your pharmacy customers personal and medical information is let out by your staff. I am unable to find anything in any of the freedom of information acts that allow the medical information of a customer to be released to anyone by a staff member. Can someone please tell me as I have left numerous emails but have had no reply. This tells me that the management of huskisson pharmacy are so arrogant that they not only condone this practice but can't take the time to apologise for this conduct.Please feel free to contact me should you have a concern but I will be coming back to huskisson soon and I will contact the relevant persons and authorities who have had their trust betrayed.RegardsStephen L Duffy L.P.I.A

This pharmacy since being taken over is hugely overpriced, and there is one checkout person who is hugely unfriendly and suspicious...I only go there if absolutely essential, but it is not my pharmacy of choice
