Great location! The apartment was very clean. One of the best I’ve stayed in for a while. Nice size rooms for a getaway. The view from our balcony (level3) was great. Bit of Water and People watching! We were grateful the managers accommodated our car park issue immediately. If you own a big car, make sure you get a room with a decent size car park. Overall staying at Malibu was great!

Lovely place to stay, great view and even greater owners. We were driving up from Toowoomba area and so we didn't get there till about 9:30 at night, when we got there someone was in our park but the owner came down and helped us get another park, so friendly and helpful.Awesome views and the hot tub was awesome, was in there with some friends drinking for hours would definitely return.

While clean and comfortable, our room was very worn. Holes in walls, loose fittings, patchy plaster, missing screens, dodgy TV. Location is perfect, but expected a higher standard of finish. Will probably return, but will ask for a different room.

These are excellent units. We have stayed here on several occasions. Centrally located on the Esplanade. Only downside was virtually non existent “free WiFi”. Badly needs fixing. Just doesn’t work.

Pros: Great location and courtyard was huge which was great for the kids. Close to the pool which was an added bonus.Cons: The apartment wasn’t the cleanest and since we were on the ground floor we had cockroaches every night. We had booked for 7 nights but ended up leaving a day early as couldn’t handle spending another night with cockroaches. Spoke to building managers about it and they organised to get pest control out. Hopefully it was a one-off.

We booked a room on the top floor, our room was extremely old and quite dirty. We stayed for 5 nights, every night ants appeared in the kitchen. Kitchen utensils had grime all over them. There was no fly netting over windows, which lead to a large cockroach entering our bedroom. The hotel charges for basic amenities such as toilet paper and shampoo. Quite overpriced for the given situation. We recommend setting up a tent on the nearby grass instead.

Had a great 3 nights at Malibu, a little hassle to begin with that was quickly sorted out by Kim and Suzie, great location on the Esplanade, very good beds, clean and tidy unit with an excellent Mooloolaba beach out the front.Have stayed at Mooloolaba numerous times this stay was up with the bestWill be back
