Very friendly. Lots of different initiatives. If you're a local up there you could really get involved. Seems like a wonderful comminity. There's a public toilet. An info office. A hall with kitchen facilities which presumably is used for things?. . A mens shed type place. And a church where they run music classes as well.

I have been involved with the community shed woodworking classes for just over a year now and have found it to be friendly and accepting of women. The men are always willing to help, warm and happy environment, great machinery and tools and I couldn't think of a better place to spend my Thursday afternoons.
