Memorial Swim Centre
The pool is always clean. There is a children's area, many lanes for swimming and barriers moved over for aqua fitness classes, which are always well attended and fun. There is shade in the shallow end and open to the sun in the deep end. Picnic tables abd seating are at the side of the pool. While it isn't as modern or spacious with facilities as the Bluewater Lagoon, it is a nice place for exercise and is used by school groups from time to time.

The centre is starting to look very tired and needs an upgrade. The pool also needs to be heated in winter. Staff there are friendly and helpful, need more programs for water aerobics

Memorial Swim Centre
Had a great swim this morning with fellow Masters swimmers at Mackay Memorial Swim Centre. Relaxed atmosphere and so centrally located. It's a shame Mackay Regional Council are considering closing this iconic dedicated War Memorial. Staff make a great coffee too! #saveourwarmemorialpool

Quality half an hour to cleanse and shower after a peak in the day. Better met with wet underclothes. I continued to keep cool, with the dry outer layer clothing, for a trip home.

Memorial swimming pool have a great service. Nothing is a problem. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I love it here.

Really great place and atmosphere. The staff are great and very helpful and most the time not too busy which is great for families. Good amenities and great for picnics e.t.c.

Nice pool. Huge grounds with trees to chill out under. As centrally located as you could get. Very friendly staff

Good place to swim. Staff are friendly and approachable. Centre looks old and tired but functions perfectly well. Even has hot showers!
