Gorgeous views with a heated spa. Breathing in the fresh air and serenity. The sounds of nature and blue skies just takes your breathe away. An excellent location to escape the rat race. Highly recommend

Back in January 2016, my parents, Aunty Linda and I stayed here and also in tow were Linda's new puppy Harry and our dog Isabel - my new kitten Thelonious, now a fully grown cat, was being minded at the cat minders.We had a really great time during our stay and I in particular had a fun time, even if the Thursday of that week was a heat wave. On the day of our arrival, Dad and I were watching the ABC News and heard that David Bowie had died.I remember buying a Beatlemania replica kit in Morpeth, CD's of Led Zeppelin, various artists and Skyhooks, DVD's of Queen and Albert Productions, books and second-hand records - in those days, I still was not collecting 180g vinyl reissues.

Thank you Simone so much for accommodating my husband and I and our two Labradors a couple of weekends ago. We lucked the most beautiful winter weather and it was gorgeous sitting outside relaxing looking out on your beautiful fully fenced manicured yard. The spa was awesome and a real bonus. The views of the bush and back to Maitland and the sunset skyline and stars at night were all so lovely, especially watching the twilight come over from the lovely warm spa. Honestly this break is one of the best we have had with our dogs in a long time and we are so grateful that your place exists and that you accommodate people’s animals outside and inside the cottage. The place was so clean, the beds were comfy, fire was great and the kitchen was very well equipped and we loved our bottle of sparkly! Thanks again for everything. We would love to come back again.

Awesome place. Clean, secluded, romantic and peaceful. Great linen, amenities and location. Close enough to shops, but secluded enough to feel you're hours away from anyone else. Cute fireplace with plenty of cut wood supplied, amazing spa. Lots of wild life! Book this place if you get the chance, its a jem!

An amazing, magical time spent! The mornings were full of birds doing their thing, I didn't mind the Angus cows (outside of the closed gate/fence) having a munch on grass, it was a beautiful Country feel, even the odd wallaby was hopping around in the distance. The spa was fantastic (just make sure you follow the instructions) and indoor fire place was warm and cosy in the evening

Wow. I don't have words for how wonderful these cottages are! The views? The attention to detail in furnishings, and quality materials are totally unexpected in a regional weekend escape. To sit back at the end of the day and enjoy the views from a hot tub, while sipping a local Hunter Valley wine? The perfect way to wipe away the hustle and bustle of a week of work in the city. Thanks so much for putting together this great weekend package.

A lovely cottage in the Hunter. Recommend a wine tour with Dan who was very knowledgeable, accommodating and patient with us. Definitely will return!

A Serendipity!We stayed in Cadair Cottage 2 for two nights in Jan/Feb summer 2022, we absolutely loved the entire experience in this serene environment. The cottage was a beauty and looks stunning as it looks in the pictures. The host had thought about every little thing guests could need to make it a pleasant stay. We received very clear communication from the host, so finding the place and the check-in/check-out part was a breeze. Getting the in-house massage from Mary complemented our holiday amazingly. We also absolutely enjoyed grabbing a beer at the local pub in Morpeth. View of the clear night sky from the spa and garden is just spectacular to watch constellations without all the pollution of the city, if that's your kind of thing.If we get a chance for a do-over, we'll stay 3 nights next time to make sure we'll be able to do everything at a slower pace and have enough time just to spend at the cottage as two nights seemed a bit on the short end. We appreciate Simone and the staff for their wonderful hospitality, you guys have great taste, thank you for the great work you have put in to make this place magical! :)

Love these cottages, this is the 2nd time we've stayed here and we were just as pleased last time too. It's close enough that you can run to Woolies or a local cafe (13 minute drive away) but far enough away that it's private and secluded, peaceful with wildlife and stars in abundance.And the Spa and Fire are amazing! plenty of wood, kindling and fire-starters providedMy only comment would be that there's only 2 plastic wine glasses (for drinking in the spa) so maybe bring an extra plastic cup? (you do NOT want to be fishing glass out of a spa!)

Lovely concept and location, saddly let down badly by quite poor execution. Shabby and musty furniture, well worn linen, no milk in fridge, blunt knives, dirty pots and pans, even a used coffee pod placed in with the few pods provided. Such a dissappointment for nearly $300 a night!
