South Yarra Volkswagen Commercial Centre

I don't do Google reviews, however today's is different. I have 2 other dealerships 20min from home Ringwood and Ferntree Gully, and today ive travelled 1 hour away to South Yarra volkswagen Richmond to take give Volkswagen one more chance. My experience was above amd beyond, greeted by Brianna, and helped out by the whole team. Best department I've experienced in a long time. Thanks for you hospitality and recommendations on my vehicle, and for restoring my faith in volkswagen.

Savio was extremely helpful with my car repair and the communications were timely and clear. I'm very happy with the service.

Appalling service. It seems they don't actually service your car, but rather tick off a checklist and give it to you pretending they've done their job.First experience - a day after servicing my Golf, the battery went flat. When I questioned whether they'd actually checked the battery, they said that the battery 'was showing a voltage' Then, they charged me double the retail price of the battery and a minimum four hours labor.Second experience - within two days of another service (separate to above), my break pads started grinding. I went to another local services centre - Euroclass - (excellent operators) and they told me I needed four new break pads. I reviewed the service report VW South Yarra had given me and they ticked off the break pads as adequate and made no mention of their needing replacement. A further week after the service, my coolant light came on. Again, I checked their service report and they had ticked the coolant inspection/refill box, but had clearly not done a thing.These guys make their money by getting as many customers in the door, charging extortionate rates for parts and labor under the guise of 'official VW service centre' and completely neglect your car and rip you off, all with a smile.The worst part - they pressure you into giving them a five start review on their email internal customer experience survey.My advice - give them a wide berth and go see your local, trusted mechanic, because they'll actually services your car, not just tick a checklist and bully you into a favorable review.

Volkswagon Richmond kept me informed throughout the day regarding repairs my vehicle needed and gave a hire vehicle. Excellent customer service from start to finish. Cars running excellent.

George at VW sold us a circa $100K van, that does not include a spare tyre/wheel and they did not bother to let us know. I then had a wheel blow up and spent 4 hours on the side of a highway with 2 kids under 5 in 35 degree heat waiting to get towed when I could have replaced a wheel in 10 minutes.George/VW response? Whoops, our bad - you can buy one for $2K then. And we will give you a half hearted insincere apology.Unbelievable, last VW I will ever own, and wouldn’t go near this dealership if you paid me.

The professionalism and service provided by Volkswagen team was outstanding! From the beginning of the order until pickup of my car was great. I have previoulsy purchased 3 vehicles from Georgio and my new Transporter T6.1 is my 4th. Once again he has been amazing with the entire process being flawless!
