Village Glen Aged Capel Sound
Village Glen has been Amazing with taking care of my Aunt. They were very welcoming and the staff went above and beyond to make her comfortable and help settle her in. The staff are just wonderful and go above and beyond to make sure her care needs and dietary needs are met. She has settled in so well and made some lovely friends and enjoys all the wonderful activities they have to offer. Even when she has a bad day the staff always know how to put a smile on her face. I am able to rest easy knowing she is in the best of care so i Highly recommend the Village Glen.

My mother had a heart attack on the Friday that we were not aware of. We visited her on the weekend and told staff we thought she was in pain. She had alzheimers. The staff didn’t get her seen by a doctor until the Monday, he diagnosed a heart attack and pneumonia. She passed away later that week. She was often left in bed until 11 am so for over 14 hours a night. They didn’t have the staff to give her a shower any earlier. We said just get her out of bed and sit her in a chair. It didn’t happen. Ate here once , never again, the food was atrocious. Fancy looking place on the surface but don’t be deceived.

Our aunt was a resident of Ti Tree Lodge (Brickendon) for 7 years & couldn’t recommend highly enough. Their care & communication with us has been beyond outstanding. My aunt died this week, 1 1/2 hours after our last visit, she had no family of her own. One of her carers came in on her day off to sit with her & was with her when she died....very, very thankful for her consideration. Thank you to all the staff of Regent.

My Dad was living in Village Glen at Balaka St for almost 18 months. The care was fantastic in difficult circumstances, especially in the memory assistance part.

Well who would know this is aged care, came in to see an old friend and this is like a little hotel, just lovely. All the staff I came into contact with were delightful.

Village Glen Aged Capel Sound
It started off great, however services and staff went down hill towards the end of 2021 and into 2022. So much so, there was a coroners investigation into my fathers death there. Don't be fooled by the pretty decor. I would NEVER recommend this aged care facility to anybody.
