Dlux Hand Car Wash, Detailing & Cafe

SERIOUSLY Don’t both taking your car to this car wash. It’s all care and no responsibility. I have given these guys 4 attempts at washing both my ranger and porsche and they have failed on all occasions. I took my ranger there this afternoon and they failed to wash the roof and rear tub. When l explained this to the duty manager he explained that the tub had s not washed as part of the $80 package that l always choose. On the previous occasions the roof and inside of doors was not washed and they managed to loose my expensive rubber mats which were apparently given to another customer and got them back after 1 week. I very rarely write reviews on anything but on this occasion l have had enough. They don’t deserve a 1star but there was no 0. So don’t throw your money away by trying to get these very unprofessional people to clean your car no matter it’s value as they could not even wash your feet let alone your car.

I have been using this car wash for years and have always been very happy. Nice to drive in, grab a coffee and watch the car getting cleaned. I don’t want to bash this business but offer some feedback. Several weeks ago I brought my silver Range Rover in for a wash. During the wash, the person washing the car was cleaning the roof racks when a ‘rear roof rack cap’ came off. The attendant picked up the cap and pushed it back onto the roof rack. The problem was they didn’t attach it properly and as I was unaware this had happened I drove home and somewhere on the drive the cap came off the car. I contacted the car wash and they checked their CCTV and explained what I have just written above. I then had to go on an extensive journey trying to find a replacement cap. (This cap stops water and dirt running along and inside the roof racks). Basically, can’t get one anywhere from dealers, to wreckers to internet searches. So the only real option is to remove the roof racks from the car and replace the weather strips underneath. These were available from Land Rover Australia at a cost of $250 each side. And then they have to be painted to match the car and this rang in at $550. So I’m roughly $1000.00 out of pocket from getting my car washed. My feedback is this. ‘If’ any part of a customers car is damaged/removed from a car during a wash could you PLEASE let the owner know before they leave! If this was the case ‘I’ would have taken the roof rack cap home and attached it myself. Or had it professionally fitted. It’s great that the person washing the car picked it up and put it back on the car but it wasn’t fitted correctly and came off. I wish someone had explained what had happened thus giving me the opportunity to take the part home in the car and spend some time trying to fit it properly myself. It would have saved me a lot of time and $1000.00.

Great Service from Jarrod and team, had my car interior carpet with liquid spill, he cleaned it twice for me so that the smell doesn't stay on the carpet.They have got a good little cafe to wait, while they do the detailing. Great service and great work in car cleaning.

Well organised car wash that has never missed a spot on my car every time I’ve had it there. A bit too far from the Yarraville shops to walk there and back but they have decent enough facilities to do some work there while you wait.

Got top of the line detail and heaps was missed. I complained and the said areas were touched up but it’s simply not good enough.It’s a factory line

Best service Best hand car wash I've been to. I took my car to be cleaned inside and out. The friendly staff could not be more attentive. They did a through job of vacuuming, the exterior was sparkling and they even deodorised the inside, leaving it smelling new-car"Great clean Makes me proud of my car."

1st time here, pulled in had a nice guy explain the differences between the cleans offered. I went with option 2 and the guys did an excellent job. I asked them NOT to polish my steering wheel and it wasn't (it was cleaned but not with a polish), the 1st car wash place to actually do as I asked. Side note the coffee was pretty good as was waiting area (air conditioned). It had a selection of seats and I chose a comfy looking arm chair. So all in all a good place to wait the 30 or so mins it took for my car to be done. Yes they're a little more expensive than other places but in this instance you really do get what you pay for! I'll be popping in again when the car needs a really good clean.

First time here. Great service. Coffee ladies were lovely. Very professional. Owner was busy but still had time to answer my questions about the soap used and my paint protection. Highly recommended.

I've been to DLux many times and shall continue to go back, even though it's across the bridge from me, with other hand car washers nearby. I've only been disappointed once and that was for watching one line move along nicely but the other (the one with my car in it) at standstill. Once I flagged this with staff though, matters were tended to without fuss. That's it and as far as the wash is concerned; They haven't failed me once.
