Espress Printers

I've used Espress for 15+ years, as a graphic designer they are the only one I trust with my clients printing needs. Always great service, great value and great print quality and fast turn-around. If there is a problem (which is so rare) they fix it no complaints, no stuffing around. A major bonus is they are environmentally friendly and use vegetable based inks :)

Excellent service right the way through. I sent an email requesting a quote, which in my experience with other printers would normally take a few days to hear back. Chris sent me an email within the hour, with a professional and detailed quote. I visited their warehouse to check the stock and they were so helpful. They greeted me the moment I walked in and helped guide me to the best option for my design. His price was competitive and he even delivered them to me within 24 hours. So impressed!

I personally visited Espress based on a recommendation. I took a sample business card with me and explained to the gentlemen behind the counter exactly what we wanted to acheive. If that couldn't be done, then we'd be more then happy with the same stock/coating used for their own business cards. Pretty straight forward and simple instructions.Left it with them and received a quote a day later. Happy with the price and assuming the quote reflected what I asked for, I agreed to go ahead with it.A day or two later the cards were delivered. They were nothing like what we asked for - not even remotely close. We received nothing better then a Vistaprint quality card but at almost 3x the cost. In fact, sitting them side by side you can not tell the difference between Espress and Vistaprint - which was EXACTLY the thing we wanted to avoid.The whole purpose of visiting in person and providing samples of what we wanted was to get something of quality, and to support another local business.I contacted Espress and made them aware of the issue. The rude and arognant nature of the emails that followed is what has lead to this review. No attempt 'whatsoever' was made to try and resolve the issue.I was told that if the quote wasn't what I wanted then I shouldn't have accepted it. This is a cop out and unacceptable. Had you quoted on what I personally asked for (in person) then we wouldn't have this issue.
