Very happy with Clean N Care. From day one. When they first took my name for when a vacancy came up which I didn't have to wait long for. When they came to visit me and made the transition over to NDIS very easy for me. When they did a great job cleaning my windows & screens. When they gave me a lovely, friendly, consciousness & thorough person to do my cleaning fortnightly. I couldn't be happier with this service and so glad I found them when I did. Shevaun

Recommend Clean n Care to all NDIS participants. Have found the staff very friendly and helpful when dealing with them on behalf of my sister. Always accommodating our requests in a timely and professional manner

Clean N Care Home and Garden Services -NDIS & Aged care
Unreliable and unprofessional. Cancelled cleaning appointments usually on the day and could not offer replacement cleaners. Could not provide support care at short notice when requested numerous times as a vital need of mine. When they provided support in the past suiting the worker’s schedule solely, I was not adequately supported. All putting my health at risk. They clearly do not care about clients.Cleaner comes to my door on appt day to ask us directly to change days so she could attend to her families needs, on our time; and coming hrs before the appt times to suit herself, after asked not to as ill people were resting. No respect.Staff member Zoe recently rung me on the morning of a cleaning appointment to cancel, giving the reason that the cleaner had a headache. I replied ‘okay, is Katie off sick?’, Zoe replied ‘no, we wanted her to rest. Bizarre. They were throughout always accomodating their staff’s needs before the NDIS recipients more urgent vital ones, which is violating the NDIS policy code - where the providers/staff are suppose to fit in with the disabled’s needs. Not the other way around which was the case. Needs investigating. If this is refuted, as has been rudely the case with one star reviews, only proves the lack of respect towards clients valid experiences and not addressing problems in their management and staff.I emailed feedback mentioning their ratings were already low. One hour after a five star review was offered here on behalf of another same day of this review. Interesting coincidence. The management needs a complete overhaul and re-training staff to deal with such NDIS recipient’s needs in adherence with NDIS policy. As NDIS recipients are put at high risk when constantly cancelled on with no replacements as mentioned above. And when staff give unsolicited harmful advice on the phone.Staff member Zoe enquired after my husband via phone, who is not the NDIS recipient, I am. I replied to Zoe ‘my husband is dying of cancer in stage 4 and my daughter is seriously ill with a traumatic brain injury and is in hospital suicidal’. Zoe replied ‘Well life was not meant to be easy’.The zero compassion, sheer unconscious cruelty and stupidity was shocking. When a child dies (I lost 3 in car accident), do we say ‘that’s life’. My psychologist also shocked.Zoe talked about a family member with cancer, that I put a stop to. Comparisons and judgements of my families ills was grossly inappropriate and she was out of line.I am the NDIS recipient with my own illnesses which Zoe knew ‘nothing about’. My families ills are my load ‘on top of my disability’, where I have no outside family or other support. That this organisation where negligent in offering reliably. When I went to give feedback on this mismanagement, Zoe tried to argue. I put a firm stop to. We are not all easy targets of abuse, she found out as I made their negligence and ignorance clear.Zoe was making personal judgements on my personal family matters that were vastly inappropriate. A case of immaturity, arrogance and lack of life experience; which did harm. And why I always requested mature age for care support who have some life experience. When Covid is involved in a cancellation that is understandable. No objection from me there. Which happened 3 times only. Cancelled numerous more.Today a new replacement cleaner was suppose to start named Emily. To also fill in for a cleaner taking annual leave in June. This morning Zoe rang me up very early stating that Emily was sick. Bizarre. It was becoming a real joke now.No replacement offered again.I have already found reliable cleaners/support with private individuals registered with NDIS, now offering us more choice. Better than going through providers. I also did not want judgements on my personal business anymore. That was my experience. I am allowed to state it. All fact.I would never recommend this organisation, especially to those who live alone and are vulnerable. No reply please. This review is for the protection of others as the disabled deserve better as per NDIS objective.

“After a number of years of good service, this organisation, which has new management, have caused my husband and I great stress over the last couple of weeks. Through poor communication, differing stories, not returning calls, including to our LAC, removing our gardener without explanation and telling her WE no longer required her, we have been unceremoniously cut off from services just now but our “new” gardener did not turn up last week so it seems obvious we were cut off then. I admit to losing my cool over the phone after weeks of trying to sort out some serious issues but deny I was verbally abusive. “I posted this review weeks ago on FB. I was told, in reply of my post, that the matter would be looked into and I would be contacted soon. Soon after that, I noticed the FB page has been taken down. I’m still waiting to hear. In my opinion, this is very poor practise and I would not recommend this company to anyone, especially the vulnerable aged and people with disabilities.Denise O’Shea

Very disapointed. I called this organisation to organise a service for an NDIS participant. I received a phone call back from Sam saying she would come to our place to bring all the documentation for us to sign. I suggested that she forwards the documentation by email so that we can read it first. She refused. I even spoke to supervisor who confirmed that they will not forward anything prior; they will bring contracts to us and we have to read it and sign it on the spot. Both women were very rude and abrupt. Even on the NDIS website it says that participants when looking for a support provider should make sure to read the contracts first, understand what they are signing, get an advice, negotiate and etc. All the usual process before you put your signature on something. I pointed this to them. They said to me in short while being quite sarcastic that is not Clean n Care's way. It is their way or highway! The whole time both women were very unpleasant, spoke with sarcastic tone, laught in my face, language was very abrupt.Another thing that shocked me was I have also requested at the beginning that whoever comes to our place being herself or later a support worker wears protective equipment as we belong to the most vulnerable group of people with the number of medical conditions: mainly masks, gloves and either bring clean shoes for inside the home or wear protective covers for shoes; that they do not walk inside our home in same dirty shoes they walk outside on street, public transport, dirt, dust, mud etc. Women broke down in loud laughter. She said no one has ever requested something like that from them they don't do that!!!I was shocked with the attitude, responce, rudeness and I still cannot believe that in today's world after we have all gone and still are going through pandemic an organisation that gives services to the most vulnerable in our community would abuse me and behave so offensively towards me after I made that request. If I could give them zero I would. These persons were vicious and the fact that there was absolutely not one grain of doubt in them that they are doing something wrong makes them seriously dangerous.Below is my responce to the owners responce:As per business registry Clean and Care has been established in 2004 which is 16 years total and not 28.Mr. John Wessling, as per his link in profile, has been running this company only for the last 2 years. That is also the time when majority of the 1 start reviews started appearing on Google. Even prior to me writing a review they had a very low rating of 3.2 which should be a warning sign to any management team. The way Mr Wesslling has handled this review is also indicative of extremely bad management and leadership skills and style. My review was genuine, truthful and it has been written out of honest concern that such personnel I have been in contact with from this company is providing care to disadvantaged and vulnerable people in our community. If I was a manager of organisation that received such a review I would have tried to find out exactly what happened; contact the customer and try to understand the reason of her/his dissatisfaction and try to better myself and the staff that is under my supervision and leadership.John Wessling did none of that. He gave a general statement; while trying to misrepresent himself and to falsely take credit for someone else’s hard work (a person who established he company and left) and without any interest whatsoever to use this review to improve this company he gave a green light and encouraged his staff (Sam) to go on a rude, abusive nonsensical outburst full of personal attacks and abusive language towards a customer while also divulging Private information so now they are also in a breach of Privacy Act and not only a badly ran org.Their behaviour in total is even much worse than what I have expected.
