Great service - had a hard drive issue which was resolved the next day. Friendly and helpful staff.

I called Tower IT yesterday.I asked about purchasing a anti virus product, and after a brief discussion I said that I would purchase it, and asked if we could get them to install it, as it was being purchased for a young girl with a disability.I was told that it will cost an extra $ 40.00.I asked again, saying that it was for a young girl with disability to which I was told again in a firm voice that it doesn't matter, $40.00 is our minimum labour charge.The install as I was told will take 5-10 minutes, that equates to a labour rate based on 10 minutes of $ 240.00.I found his attitude disturbing, impolite, and unprofessional.I didn't expect them to do it for free, but I thought they could of been a lot more polite, and helpful.I reluctantly purchased the anti virus through a large chain supplier, who were surprisingly helpful, polite, and gave us a discount as well.I would much rather have kept our business with a small local supplier, we do buy several computers every year, and often get them repaired, anti virus, and sometimes updates.I will most certainly not be purchasing anything through Tower IT again, and I will if asked, not recommend then to my clients, friends, or family.

Every time I have taken my PC in, the team here have been nothing but helpful. I love that I have the opportunity to be informed and involved in the rebuilding of various parts, and that they take the time to teach me and fill in the gaps I have for problems I’ve not seen before. They do not try and milk money from me, they are transparent throughout the whole process. I would recommend them to anyone, from purchase to service, from repairs to maintenance. 11/10, will always use for my IT needs.

My MBP screen broke and I needed my laptop repaired as quickly as possible - not only did Mark provide a very competitive price, but he was also reliable in honestly communicating that the screen depended on delivery of the part, and then getting it fixed within 24hrs of the replacement part arriving. Needed some more ram for heavily modded games and got some great advice and awesome price here for my new 32gb ram cards kit.Received some bad advice from one of the other local stores and another just quickly writing me down for a possible order..Definitely go here if you want the quality service. Mark actually checked the compatibility of my ram to my pc specs before selling it to me and stayed on the phone just after close for a few mins while i plugged them in to check they worked.The one time I've ever upgraded something pc related without stress or pressure for a sale. I actually got to enjoy the moment.10/10.

I needed a cheap laptop to record some audio and do some basic things. Mark helped me out and answered all of my questions, he went above and beyond, even recommending a cheaper unit as it would suit my needs better.When I came back the second time (I will only deal with them for my I.T. needs now) Mike was just as helpful. Both of those gentleman genuinely want to set customers up with the right machines. Mark and Mike I can't sing your praises enough.Great value, great service, these guys know what they are doing and I wholeheartedly recommend them.

On more than one occasion I have had Tower IT help with our IT needs. On each occasion they have been fabulous and they have value added on a service level to the highest possible outcome.It's refreshing to find people with knowledge and service levels to match and just aren't out for the dollar. This is a good Ballarat business.
