I am the cousin of the girl who recently reported rude customer service who came in. Everything she said was true. Don’t accuse us of lying because of your rude customer service. We were just completely shocked about how rude she was when we were leaving we needed to leave a review as we have never left a review before. We wouldn’t leave a review if it wasn’t true. Also coming into OUR change room with OUR clothes on the floor should not have been done then continuing to say goodness gracious as if we had chucked everything on the floor. There was a lack of space in the change rooms to her clothes anyways and no where does it say don’t put your stuff on the floor. If that is such a big issue for you guys you should have told us before we went into the change room rather than coming across as if we were messy. Also we are only telling you guys this because we are giving you feedback on how to sell your clothes as I don’t believe anybody would support your company if they were treated how we were. So rather than denying everything we said, take it into consideration. If a customer doesn’t want to buy an overpriced outfit say ‘it’s okay’ rather then NOTHING. I said again and again ‘sorry I’m not buying it’ ‘I wish it came in green’ ‘we might come back later’ to the lady as I was walking out the door only for her to death stare me I honestly felt scared. There is no need to deny it as we know what happend. Teach your staff to be polite if somebody can’t afford an $80 outfit. Reply to this review or not it’s just the truth and we are saying this to you guys because you have nice clothes which I believe will sell. The customer service needs improving though.

I would like to start off by saying, I’m not too sure whether you watched the wrong clips, didn’t watch it properly, or are lying, however I was right. I would never lie about something so strange and random. I’ve never left a bad review in my life (nor have I left a good one).Im not too sure if you saw on the clip when my cousin continuously said “sorry I cannot afford it, I can’t buy it, I’m so sorry, have a good day, cya”. The woman working said absolutely nothing. Not too sure if you saw that or not.You mentioned in the reply that I’m not ‘allowed’ to leave the clothes Ive tried on because they have have gotten damaged… even though this is un-likely to happen, if Coast Girl REALLY wanted me to not put my clothes on the floor, the lady working should’ve told me prior to trying the clothes on, or there should have been a sign saying to do so. I’ve never, not once, in my life been told off for not hanging my clothes up. I’m not too sure if that’s just something that happens in Mooloolaba or not, but I assume not because every other shop I entered during my stay didn’t have an issue at all.I understand that you may not want your clothes on the floor, but it doesn’t give you any right to enter a customers change room with their OWN belongings inside (I would know as I work in retail as well).I get that this may have been a major issue for your shop particularly (which isn’t a problem what so ever if that’s what you guys wanted), but next time I would highly recommend letting the customer know before being rude about it. In other words getting up and going into my personal change room.I also read that you said that we could bring our mothers in, or give you guys a call. I was just wondering why that would be needed when we already know what happened.Firstly my own mother would believe me. However, most importantly, I witnessed it. It happened to me (the customer service), so that’s unnecessary.So, just thought that I would respond to you guys to let you know my thoughts on situation. I didn’t like how you said “you might want to take into consideration cleaning up your belongings when going into other shops”, acting as if it’s a general thing.I’m not one to say it isn’t, however I’m just saying I’ve never been specifically told off for doing so. The employee has always said “no worries, go and have a good rest of your day”, which I believe is the best way to end your conversation with a customer (not let the customer speak to a brick wall).Thank you guys for replying, I appreciate it. I genuinely do love the clothes you sold, however I just couldn’t afford it at the time (which shouldn’t be a problem).All the best,Maya.

Sign out the front said “be back in 10 minutes” and I’ve been waiting out the front for 15 and the girl working in there was too busy taking photos of herself instead of opening up the store. Very disappointed .

Ella has such beautiful dresses and such good quality, it’s so hard to not buy everything!

Spent half an hour in this store today without being approached. Girl just stood behind counter the entire time we were there, no greeting nothing. The only interaction was when my daughter purchased a dress. Such a shame lovely shop, I was going to buy candles and some coasters but decided to spend my money elsewhere! Thought Australia was looking forward to having overseas tourists.
