Must visit spot... spectacular view. About 2Kms off road drive. Enough parking and sheded areas. Can do picnic as it have dedicated areas.

An amazing must-do if you are visiting Quilpie. The walk is only a short 10 mins up the mountain and barely is that strenuous. The rocks are a little loose so take care. The views are amazing at the top and worth waking up early just to see the sunset. Make sure to also see the sunset as well

Good for a sunset view of the expansive OUTBACK.Easy and good access on a newly made road to the base.Walk up is easy. Take the small track beside stairs when going up. Use stairs going down.Good place for a beer after a long drive.

The start of desert country. Wild scorched landscape. Lots of birds once you stop and listen. Worth the walk up and around.

We enjoyed our climb to the top if Baldy Top. A bit of confusion about which way to go at the top of the track and I nearly fell off trying to reach the summit, because I chose the wrong path.

Quick stop at the Baldy Top Lookout just before entering Quilpie from the west.A short walk on a rocky gravel path to the summit plateau, where you have beautiful views over the Outback bushland.
