This is my husbands name but I cannot change it.I have had terrible communication from this company in the last couple of week. They are doing a job for repairing and finding the cause of some flooding in our roof and storage space roof through CGU insurance.I had Habib contact me after I had a few minor queries about the contact Friday 3 weeks ago. He said to put the questions in an email and he will meet with his boss on Monday and get back to me.At the end of that week, I emailed to follow up. No response. I called the mobile he called me on. No response back. I called the Balcatta office and a lady said she will get him to contact me. No response. In now another week or so after that phone call.So nothing is happening. Very frustrating. Maybe this review will get a call back.My baby is due in a few weeks and this is her room so hopefully we get things moving soon.

This company has a large contract with CommInsure and really doesn’t care about the customer. Anything you say is immediately ignored. The worst service I’ve ever seen.

We had a leak come into our laundry from the roof from a recent storm and we were knocked back on our insurance claim because this company blamed it on a ceiling fan in the bathroom.The bathroom has no damage whatsoever (where the ceiling fan is), and the fan has been there for the past several years with no effects.I had my son get up onto the roof with a hose and there was water running in from two places on the roof under the solar heater. The storm had obviously lifted the heater and broke at least two tiles which has caused the leak. It therefore falls under storm damage, but they claim it to be a maintenance issue.The guy who did the assessment for RAC didn't ask any questions, just made an assumption and passed it on to the RAC to reject our claim. All he did was ask for a ladder, stuck his head in the manhole and left.Professionalism at it's finest.Walk away, whatever you do. This company is not worth the anguish.

Toally incompetent company dealing with my house repairs. I found that the first supervisor was untruthful, and the second one (s pendretti )not at all good at making the trades and communicating , ignoring my requests for trade problems eg, floor fitting , skirting boards ,carpet etc. I have had to get the last quotes myself after waiting months for a reply from them.Would not recommend this company to anyone, totally useless.They have caused a lot of stress to myself and wife.A courtesy call from them would have been acceptable, but no, very very rude.

I am beyond happy with the work johns lyng group did on an RAC insurance claim job. All the tradesmen that were sent for the repairs which included cabinet makers, plumbers , electricians, flooring and painters were all extremely professional and efficient and kind. I highly recommend johns lyng in future.

This building company was sent out by our insurer after we had a leak that destroyed our kitchen cabinets. I explained the situation and advised that I had turned off the water at the mains so the leak had been contained for now. When the builder assessed the damage, they reported that the leak was slow and gradual over a long period of time. They also reported that this damage would have taken months to happen.Anyway....It turns out that our water bill showed 40,000 litres of water used IN A VACANT PROPERTY! Which was vacant for 2 months in which this damage occurred. Because of their false reporting, our claim was rejected and now have to pay for the repairs in full.If you get the option with your insurer, DO NOT use Johns Lyng Group.

Absolutely unacceptable service. I am using an anonymous name because we are still trying to get an insurance job completed, and I don’t want a poor review to impact this job that has been ongoing since May. 5 months of poor communication me constantly chasing them and constantly being fobbed off with “by the end of the week” …. Will happen yet we are still at square 1 and it’s not even a big job.We are going through insurance so have no choice but my advice is take your business elsewhere.

Had a building inspector out the other day, in relation to an insurance claim, and was very happy - polite, friendly, professional and happy to explain to us what the process was.No complaints.
