Master Chang’s Bakery

The price for egg tarts has increase from $2 to $2.50 but the egg filling is getting lesser. Its just mainly eating pastry. Its quite significant to increase $0.50 each egg tart I am expecting it should at least remains the same quality. Very disappointing this will be the last time we visit the bakery.

The 4 in one pack big bau/bun costing $24(pork, chicken etc). The backing paper underneath each bau is printed with small red flowers. The colour of these red flowers got transferred onto the bau. This is unhealthy. The Health Department should investigate this unprofessional food preparation method.

0.5 STAR is worth enough!Agreed with A.K and Thurga that the owner old aunt was very arrogant every time, rude and unpolitely to especially Asian customers. What my recent experience was everything over price, under quality. Bought breads, siew pao they were all EXTREMELY MSG. My family members all were thirst for more than 5 hrs even drank lots of water.Layer cake not honestly cut, thickness -undercut in each if didn't look carefully.Very poor service, the bread shelves is very dirt.

Cockroach found in sliced cheesecake. Can only imagine the level of hygiene in this place

Update: Bought coffee Swiss roll today, very soft and yummy but could definitely cut down on the sweetness. Lady boss?? at the counter was very cocky still, no greeting thank you whatsoever.Review 5 months agoSiew bao and egg tarts were yummy. Curry puff was just so so.

Excellent! The confectioneries were outstanding.. and the cost to quantity was amazing !Only thing that was lacking was customer service but who cares as long the food is good right?

Tried most of the pastries & a few of their cakes. I must say they are pleasantly tasty & good. Price is set reasonably for the quality of food they provided. Highly recommended and you will not regret.Unfortunately, their Durian puffs are a big let down (the durian fillings are pretty flavoursome but the pastry is the issue). Maybe i expected too much as I'm a durian lover and knowing they are available for sale ONLY on Saturdays (scarcity!). What's more!? It costs $7 for 2 durian puffs! But it doesn't taste good enough to render that kind of awaiting & pricing.Hence I dropped the 5 star rating to 4 star recently due to the above. However in all fairness, their other food products are still worthwhile to buy and try.

A small piece of heaven hidden away.Definitely would recommend anyone to come try the mix options and their variety.
