Very friendly customer experience

Once a year splurge always at adairs...

I ordered a Kids Adairs rug, which I paid for in full. I was told it should be about 7-10 business working days for it to arrive. I rang the store to ask if my rug had arrived which I was replied with it had only just been 10 working days and that I should ring back later (in quiet an abrupt manner). When I asked how much longer I would be waiting for the reply was they didn’t know and couldn’t tell me and that they would ring me when it arrived. 4 weeks later after no phone call from the store, I rang again (a phone call with an update would have been considerate due to such a long wait), and was told I would have to ring on Monday to speak to the manager. When I rang on Monday they could not find my order and was put on hold. Only then to be told that it was in store and I could come and pick it up. Unfortunately this experience has really put me off as I was disappointed in the service I was provided. My product I ordered was in good quality as all my adairs products have been, but the service I received when I rang was poor. I understand that Adair’s Albury do not have control over delievery times however I believe they could have asked about where it was from the supplier. To say they have no way off knowing when my product would arrive isn’t good enough. I did try and bring this issue up in store when I picked it up but the shop attendant didn’t seem interested as there were a few people in store.

Went into two Albury central shops yesterday to buy bedding. Browsed in the first one under the watchful gaze of two staff members who couldn’t be bothered speaking to me let alone engaging in a sale. So I walked up to Adairs on the corner of Swift & Olive. WOW. The experience could not have been more different. Steph greeted me with a smile, really knew her stuff. Went out of her way to help me. Of course I bought there. Not because of the price (although that was excellent) but because of the friendly service and knowledge of product. Had some great banter with all four girls. Lots of laughs. One of the best buying experiences I’ve had in a retail store in years. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ADAIRS. Doesn’t matter who serves you you will walk out with the product that best serves your needs. 12 out of 10
