Red Dirt Tours

Not if disabled. Couldn't tell me if anyone available to push my son in wheelchair. He's mobile but too much walking. Weren't interested in helping. So 5 stars if able bodied. By the way this earth is not Millions of years old. Lies. And no toilets where morning tea is provided. Very poor. Zero stars.

We did the 3/4 day tour to Lark Quarry Dinosaur Stampede on 13/6/23. It was fabulous. Luke was our Driver/guide and he was very professional and informative .The bus ride was comfortable and stress free ( no need to take your own vehicle on the gravel, dusty road).Morning tea, ( at a lookout) lunch & afternoon snack ( Lsrk Quarry museum) were all fresh & tasty. We we picked up on time . Highly recommend this company. Well worth it.There is heaps to do around Winton , so I suggest you allow 4 nights. The Australian Age of Dinosaurs, Lark Quarry, Waltzing Matilda , poets corner( North Gregory) etc .. all are great..

Highly recommended. A great way to see the country as I did two separate tours with Red Dirt Tours. Vicki is a great host, knowledgable about the surrounding areas and local history.

We spent the last few days doing a variety of tours with Vicky from. Red Dirt Tours. We were impressed by the local knowledge and history of the area and enjoyed the professional yet friendly nature of all the tours. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Fantastic trip. We learnt so much about the Winton district and how the land was formed around 95 million years ago. Seeing the dinosaur stampede was amazing.Our driver and guide, Luke was very informative. We would certainly recommend anyone visiting Winton to book a tour

Did the full day tour to Lark quarry Dinosaur stampede site and the surrounding district with tourguide Luke. Luke was very knowledgeable about the area and had tonnes of trivia to offer about Winton's history and the geography of the district. He also doubles as the projectionist at the outdoor cinema! The bus was comfortable with airconditioning. Meals provided were healthy and delicious. Recommended!

We enjoyed our sunset tour with Vicki. She was right on time, was very informative and pleasant. Once at the site we had a nice walk with interesting information then a lovely time chatting and watching the sunset.

Peters knowledge of the local landscape, flora, fauna and Birds was great. I would recommend red dirt tours to anyone wanting to learn about the outback in Winton and surrounds.
