The Cooking Professor

I have visited the Cooking Professor before for the pasta making class and thoroughly enjoyed it. However, I was booked into the ramen making class but was unable to attend on the day due to personal illness and was denied a coupon for another date. I am thoroughly disappointed that my Christmas present that I got as a voucher went to waste and further money I paid to attend this class. I even had a provided doctors note that ended up being something completely out of my control for that day. I understand the 7 day cancellation policy but I didn't plan on having personal illness on the day of the class. In this day and age of covid, if it was covid did they expect me to turn up with the illness? I am very unhappy that i was basically denied this experience and will never be coming back to this place again and be telling people to not attend. I cannot believe that I wasn't even allowed a coupon for future classes and think it was a slap in the face that the people i conversed with wished me to come back in future.

My friends and I just completed the Vietnamese cooking class with Sunny and Tim. What a great night! Amazing food, fun, informative and delicious!! This wasn't my first class and I'll be back again. Love this cooking school!

Spanish tapas class was worth every cent!Riki made everyone welcome as they arrived and in two short hours turned a group of strangers into a productive and friendly team who enjoyed a tapas meal as friends.The class was informative, fun and the food was sensational.It was great that Riki also took the time to explain some of the history of tapas, why she used one product instead of another.I will definitely be back for more of these classes!I wish I had remembered to take more photos before we all started eating. Riki's churros are the best I have ever eaten.

Great experience!Robyne was amazing, such a great personality and clear instructions to follow: we did the pasta making class and it did not disappoint!Different variant with spinach pasta too!I definitely recommend it to anyone!

What a great night. Rikki is warm, funny, super knowledgeable and the Moroccan cooking class was outstanding.Tips and tricks, beautiful flavours, and a really nice bunch of people to eat a gourmet dinner with at the end of the night.We will be back. And have no qualms recommending a class to anyone interested in food, cooking, or a nice night out.

An amazing night for our quarterly event - some bonding and team building thanks to Riki, culminating in an amazing three course meal. Many thanks, we will be back!

We attended the knife skills workshop and it was amazing!!! Riki is so lovely and has so much knowledge and skills to share. She made the class enjoyable and also very useful. After her demo of chopping we cut up fruit to make a fruit salad and vegetables and Riki made us a minestrone soup. The best minestrone I’ve ever eaten. The kitchen is so nice too, cannot recommend this class more!!

Did the Middle Eastern Cuisine Cooking night. This was a fabulous class and the food tastes were out of this world. Totally underestimated cuisine that is doubly hard to find in WA. Definately recommend this class and the Cooking Professor

The first time I went here was for a vegetarian class. Rikki taught the class and she did a great job of showing the class how to cook individual meals so we could then bring the meals together to eat and share at the end.It can feel a little hectic at some points from the chef wanting to control all the individual 6-8 dishes being cooked at once, but it’s all worth it to then you sit and eat calmly afterwards.I learnt a lot about the individual foods and whether they’re good sources of protein or how to cook stuff properly.I really believe that class was a great learning experience.The second time I went was for a Ramen class, which was taught by a different chef, but this lady was really good with banter and having a laugh with the class, and it was still a great time. That time round it was more listening and having fun at the same time. But again, the food was amazing, and this time we all helped prepare our condiments but everyone was doing the same thing.So you can never expect two classes to go down the same, but you do know the food always tastes great, and you learnt something along the way.Fun, quirky, never the same, so you may as well give this place a try.
