Pentanet

Pentanet is the Internet provider that I would certainly recommend. As you can see that many subscribers mentioned. I have been with Pentanet for over 2 years now, excellent customer support and fast response.

I would highly recommend Pentanet to family and friends. I am connected to the Local Broadband Network and recently I was offline for a month because the LBN had purchased routers that could not handle what was required, even though they were assured it would by China, so I would point out that it was not LBNCo's fault either. Pentanet, my service provider, went above and beyond trying to get me online again by keeping on LBN's back to replace my router. They kept me informed at all times and they even refunded me the month's charges I was offline immediately. I have now been back online for 6 months without any problems and still getting great speeds.

Pentanet were fantastic in helping organise NBN and initial setup when we moved house. Their call centre is in Perth, so they knew where we were (and not a suburb of the same name in another State) and could not have been more helpful. I would very happily recommend them to anyone - and often do!

Absolutely horrible internet it is totally out and not usable and there is no outages in our area. The internet is getting slower and slower by they day. It’s gotten to the point when at home I flick all devices to my 4G phone plan to be able use any device at all. I’m on hold with them right now I waited nearly an hour was 3rd in the queue and there line cut and now I have to start all over again. Absolutely waist of time!The internet was once incredible when I 1st signed up and now it’s worse then dial up 6 months later.Do not sign up with them

New to Pentanet and from signing up to getting connected, there is nothing to fault. The signing up process was super simple, within few days the connection was set up, had difficulty setting up router (my own device), so went into the city office and was assisted by Nathan, who was super helfpul and friendly. Got home, plugged in the pre configured router, but still no luck, so jump online for live chat and was assisted by Freddie. 5/5. The connection is pretty good, hopefully it will be stable!

Been with Pentanet for 5 years now on Fixed Wireless and it was fantastic. Just switched to the new Nexus Mesh and oh my what a difference. Was getting a superb 100 up 30 down before and when it was switched this morning went to a 700 up 700 down super low ping connection, that is simply insane speed. A 6GB download on Steam was so fast, around a minute, that I had to wait for the SSD to finish. Normally they are in sync because the drives are faster than the connection, not now. 6GB a minute is extreme, I love it !Best customer support, local firm, local knowledgeable installers, what more can you ask for. And to top it all as an early adopter I am getting this cheaper than the fixed wireless I had. Absolute bargain, gotta love a company who deliver on the promises.

Go elsewhere. Do not waste your time with this useless company. No customer service whatsoever. They don’t reply to any correspondence and internet (Nexus) barely works let alone reach the speeds promised. After trying to make contact many times and then informing Pentanet in writing that we would be contacting the Telecommunications Ombudsman did they then make contact with us. We were informed in writing that we would not have to pay for our service or any costs and they would cancel the service immediately. A few weeks later and we have received yet another bill and they have failed to cancel the service. Once again contact has been made with a useless flustered staff member that has assured us that it's been cancelled and we won't have to pay. We do not believe them and will now be reporting them to Telecommunications Ombudsman as we do not wish for the debt to be sent to debt collectors due to Pentanets incompetence. This ordeal has been an absolute nightmare.

Terrible customer service. I signed up 3 weeks ago and it’s still not working.Good luck getting through in a reasonable time to anyone. “Just plug and play” they said. Glad I didn’t sign up on a contract and still have my existing wireless. So I canceled because of no connection and bad service.Even after their incompetence they still sent a bill without even a connection. Avoid Pentanet NBN!
