Smile Hawthorn - Dentist and Specialist Orthodontist

I don't like going to the dentist but I had a good experience here. They explained everything to me before they did anything. They always checked to make sure I was ok and would progress only if I was fine with it. I just had a cleaning this time but they also did a scan so I know what work I might need to get in the future.

Dr Andrew is very thorough and he gave me a number of options for treatment which I appreciated because I don't have private health cover. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The facilities seem to be very new and they were able to do x-rays and show me the pictures instantly.

First time here today after reading all the positive reviews and Dr Andrew has been extremely friendly and patiently explaining every step of the process. Highly recommend Smile Hawthorn.

I have never been a fan of going to the dentist avoided it at all costs, but from the moment I stepped into Smile Hawthorn I felt welcomed and relaxed. I was never made to feel guilty or embarrassed by my teeth, I was informed about everything clearly and given multiple options so I could understand each option and outcome.Having extremely crooked teeth I had a orthodontic plan drawn up and I knew all of the steps that were to coming in the following years and was able to pay off the bill over time elevating the stress of money.Having both orthodontist and dentist in the same practice made life easier as I could see both in the same visit eliminating multiple visits.If you are looking for a family friendly relaxing welcoming dental practice look no further!!!

My wife attended this practice and was delighted with the care, cleanliness and very modern equipment in a lovely environment. Dr. Andrew was very thorough, gentle and knowledgeable. She felt relaxed and in good hands. Loved the soothing music, and Dr Andrew always checking in that she was going fine. I’ll be booking in now too!

Dr Andrew is a saint.He is such a patient and kind person. I have had a few horrible experiences with dentists, which in turn has made me a very anxious patient. He explains all prodedures really carefully and in detail before and while he is doing them, so I understand what's going to happen each and every time.He also tells me funny anecdotes and jokes around a lot which makes me feel at ease. He checks in throughout procedures to see how I am going as well.While I may still need a valium or 2 before I go in, Dr Andrew as made my trips to the dentist better than I ever expected.All staff at Smile are so accommodating and kind every time I go in. The place is always immaculate!

Dr Andrew is definitely the most personable dentist I have ever met! He went above and beyond with his explanations of options for bridging the gap due to a missing tooth (and was in no way pushy, just very informative) and removed some glue I've had behind my teeth from braces from about 15 years ago (and I have seen many dentists since then, he is the only one to have noticed/ bothered to do that!!). He is extremely kind and bubbly and his supporting staff was also wonderful. I am so happy to have found a great dentist that I can comfortably keep going back to! He also offers a great deal for a first time visit which was greatly appreciated! :) Thank you Dr Andrew and the staff at Smile Hawthorn.

Dr.Andrew is really nice and friendly. He is very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease. He's being transparent and explained all the options. Best dentist I've ever seen! I am also impressed with the service from the reception lady. Excellent customer service. This place totally deserved the 5 stars!

Never had a easier time at the dentist. Came here as a new patient, team was so friendly and Dr. Andrew was excellent. Very calming, gentle and helpful. They’ve got a customer for life!

I’ve been to a few dentists in my time, even had orthodontist treatments with the best, this man is genuinely a nice person who engages with his patients and gives so much information without being pushy. The girls at the front are lovely. This is the place to go. Thanks Dr. Andrew!
