Great menu, order from QR code at table, absolutely tasty meals, the Farmers Garden breakfast was sensational - every element so tasty on its own, and still tasting complementary to the other food on the plate

A must see for us, every time we are in town. The new owners go above and beyond making everyone welcome while maintaining the original building and its history. A great place to visit no matter if you visit the city centre or the hospital precinct near by.

Go here if you haven't been prior to the renovation (this week), and new owners.We really enjoyed the food, pumpkin soup was one of the best we have had, and the Korean chicken burger was tender with excellent flavour. The French fries were perfect, crispy with a fluffy center.Moving the entrance to the side street means now you don't get a cold breeze every time the door is open. The interior is warm, and the fireplace creates a lovely warm place to dine.Thanks team for really lifting the food and dining experience to the next level.

Delicious lunch of mushroom risotto and Pad Thai yesterday. Good size servings. Coffee was excellent.Friendly wait staff added to our lovely lunch.We’ve been going to the Turret for many years and we were impressed by the refurb from the new owner. In particular the ceiling acoustic panels have made a big improvement to our dining experience.The two open fires were greatly appreciated on a cold and wet day.Looking forward to our next visit.

Stopped in for coffee n cake. Devonshire tea quite nice, other cakes looked good. There was a good food menu as well. Premises has an interesting history.

We ate here and had a very friendly & efficient person wait out table. It’s a bustling cafe which filled quickly at lunchtime. My husband said the beef rendang was terrific. My mother & I both had the farmers breakfast which was delicious but mine was not as hot as it could’ve been - Mum’s was though. I’d come back though - it’s good food and I could’ve asked them to heat my meal up a bit but it was fine.

Beautiful Historical venue, wonderful atmosphere and delicious food. Staff were very friendly and efficient and meals came quite quickly.
