It looks like I am the first to post a bad review and that is a shame. I wish I didn't have to because I love supporting small local businesses.I took two bikes in for a tune up and the service was outstanding. They replace a tube in a rear tyre that I didn't know needed replacing and I was grateful for such attention.Once the bikes were home I parked them and didn't have the time to ride them for two months - the rain didn't help. I noticed that the rear tyre they fixed had gone flat and tried to pump it up. The air escaped immediately indicating a severe puncture. When I called to see if they would have a look at it, as it was the tube they replaced, I was informed that they could but I would have to pay for it. I said I hadn't even ridden the bike but that didn't matter.I understand how tyres and customers work and they could have easily offered to check it out and then tell me it was punctured in a ride or some other act. The offer was never made.Today I purchased my own tube replacing the defective one and found a severe puncture next to the valve that is obviously a defect or a slice from installing it.I wasn't going to post a review but one of the reasons I love supporting small local businesses is for the personal attention and service they offer. This was not the case in my one, only and last interaction with Phoenix. It would have been such a simple process to turn an unfortunate situation into an absolute positive story about customer care but it was missed.

These guys are the definition of personable and professional. I have had both James and Jerry work on road and MTB bikes of mine and in each case they deliver just what is needed at great prices. Despite the numerous good reviews I have to post a negative review. My experience with Phoenix Cycles has been very disappointing. I've ordered a product online, showing sufficient stock. No shipping information received for nearly a week so I followed up by email only to be informed that the order was cancelled as there was an error with stock levels". Ok

Brilliant! I found a Shimano cassette they were selling on the Bike Exchange and within a day I had purchased it via an invoice and it was sent via express post, arriving on my doorstep in Queensland the next day. James was so fantastic, prompt and so helpful. Such a gem in the bike community and will be shopping there again for sure! Thanks team.

I could not get my bicycle fixed in the place where i bought it, too busy for me. So I went for the first time to Phoenix Cycles and met Jerry, he was very friendly and helpful. Got my bike fixed in no time and for a fair price, plus he did some extra adjustments. Now its running smoothly again. I am really happy I found this place. Giovanni

Picked up a new bike from these guys and what an awesome experience, Bernie took me through all the detail I wanted and all the stuff I didn't know I needed. Super happy with the bike, the fit and the service as well as all the tips I picked up the process. The guys are super friendly, know their stuff and took the time to make sure I had what I needed. Hours on the sign say 5pm, google says 5 pm. Came here specifically to get a tube lat on a Friday , called ahead no answer, get to the site a sign that says 7-12. Facebook says open, now I have to push the bike home . I would have gone a different way if I had known.

Highly recommended. I Took my Poligon D5 for a service to check a noise from head bearing and issue with gears. I rode this morning and now is much better no noises or whatsoever. Clean and shiny. Thanks fella.

Have been 3 times now for various repairs, and they have been great each time. Fair costs, but the best part is how quick they are. None of this be ready in 2 weeks" business. My new preferred local bike shop. Keep up the good work guys."

Found this lovely bike store from google. Had my kid’s bike fixed within two hours. Very attentive service and fair cost. They also checked the brake and pumped the tyres. I rarely leave google reviews. It was a pleasant experience and I want to support this local small business!
