Proserpine Motel & Guest House

Thank you for your reviews and apologies for your bad experience. As of 20th September 2017, I have taken over Management of this Motel and plan to show it some love. I do hope you can visit us again soon for an enjoyable and pleasant stay.

The room was extremely clean and the bed was really comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

Very poor asked for a tax receipt but still nothing. Windows won't close & very noisy from joining room's. Over priced for quality & will avoid this place next time

Left Sydney to Cairns and back in December of 2019 on my bicycle for Cancer. Arrived in Proserpine February of 2020 just as Covid hit. Mentioned l would be back on return to the Owner and she offered to but me up. Back in Proserpine and true to her word,I am in a real bed and hot shower after nearly a year. Excellent location. Excellent and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and tidy. The motel is still repairing from the cyclone in 2016 so they only have 4? usable rooms but they were clean and tidy. Hot water in one room (12) was low pressure and took forever but 11 was fine. Air conditioned but still has louvers so noise and heat can still enter.Walking distance to the Prince of Wales for a good feed.

Arrived at 9pm, no booking. Owner was courteous and didn't mind me getting her out of bed. Nice quiet room with a comfy bed. Fridge, microwave, a/c and TV.

Very friendly and helpful.... Room basic but everything necessary provided. Central to all town amenities including Woolworths, cafes and pub meals. Quiet, with fans, air conditioning, microwave, fridge and basic cutlery and crockery requirements for simple food preparation.

We will never stay here again the room stunk even a can of Glen 20 didnt work. No hot water had to run the shower for 30 minutes to get luke warm water. TV was that small. Room is very old curtains had holes in them draft coming through the windows. Floor could off been sweeped. Little dog yapped on and off. Felt like we had gone back in time.

It was quiet of a night time. Great bed. Lovely lady looking after it. But could of been cleaner.

Thank you so much to Kristy for friendliness and helping to make our stay in Proserpine so lovely. We were only here for 2 days & one night to see grandchildren performing in a concert. We caught the train from Brisbane and Kristy was happy to store luggage and give us late checkout. The room was clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. The bed was comfortable and it is a very quiet area so I overslept. There are no meals available but it is very close to Woolies and there is a microwave as well as fridge, kettle and toaster so if Woolies is open then it is convenient to get something to eat. Blazes at RSL is a close walk for meals also. I'm sure we will be back.
