They layout is great. Always have what I’m looking for.

Good range lf products, had everything we need for a 1 week stay in the Huon region, plus lots of other essentials too if staying longer. Prices seemed reasonable too

Considering it's the only IGA before you hit Dover, it has a very small range of stock and produce. It also wasn't classy hearing the shop assistant whispering about all the black people" she's witnessed lately. I'm not interested in supporting bigotry."

We have travelled 9 months around Oz, shopping at various stores of course, including many IGAs, and this one falls way below par for any of them. We stayed in Geeveston for 4 weeks and went here a few times. We could have overlooked the 2 times were were overcharged for goods and had to go back to rectify it. The final straw was for poor quality when we bought a 500gm punnet of tomatoes for $9.50 (by far the highest price we have ever paid for tomatoes) then to have them start to go off after 3 days in the fridge!!! By that time we were south of Southport otherwise I would have taken them back and demanded our money back. Atrocious quality, and the checkout staff may be friendly but are lax in charging the right price.

I've been living in geeveston for 16 years, and so I've seen a few incarnations of my IGA, and this one is by far the best, and it seems to be getting even better. Mathew and Amanda have been instrumental in helping our little township through fire and now this virus. On a more personal level they and their staff have been kind and caring from helping to get my shopping into the car, and making sure I have all that is needed. I've noticed that some reviews have been quite negative, saying that the staff aren't friendly, however, I personally haven't witnessed that, and everyone is entitled to not feel happy from time to time. Thank you everyone at IGA you are all important to me and our community. Cheers!

Small IGA with everything we needed, bit of a holiday section for us tourist. We purchased some playing cards here to fill in some of the quiet evenings on our holiday. The produce was fresh and prices reasonable compared to the larger stores. Geeveston was a nice small town.

Visited to buy snacks and water during a day tour from hobart.

Really friendly staff always helpful. Good gluten free selection too!
